Billy Frampton Cup???

It's a money grab. Pure and simple. I'd tell them to go * themselves and get a new trophy.
Itā€™s a money grab, but if they have a right for it, why not do it?

Point 2, the trophy is so ugly that this could be a blessing in disguise. Just change it and move on.

Not a good week for the Port Adelaide Football Club. First it was the Bond boys suing us now today's press front page has an unflatering item on Warren Tredrea and the Aliir Aliir story all over the front page. We even have a story on ex AFL players lining up to take pot shots about our negligence in the Aliir situation, at least that is buried on page 42!

The issues with Tredders and the Bonds are personal. The Aliir situation deserves to be plastered all over every medium. This happened last year as well. We have form. I hope they throw the book at us. Our administration stinks.

What is it with you pal? You made your point several pages back. You don't read the paper so leave us that do to it. Less of the descriminatory remarks.

Daily newspapers and older Australians you obviously have something against both.

If you do not like references to newspapers don't haunt a thread about the media.

BLOODY WELL SAID
This is what that meme is made for.

P.s my mum is in her 70s, and so are my in laws. None read or buy papers.

Come to think of it, no one I know in that age bracket does.

It must be super niche now surely. I bet the grey nomads still pick up a paper on the road to Yaartapuulticatapuulti or wherever their next caravan stop is.

My nan only ever bought it to line the Budgie cage.

Gdad buys it to do the puzzles and to pretend to read it so he doesn't have to talk to Gma.

It seems like Port are the target this week...

I wonder if this Cassie Burton is related to Ryan Burton? There is a North Adelaide connection there.

At some stage a club is going to follow the AFL's arse covering procedures to the letter and finish with four or five players sitting on the pine after head knocks. It is quite conceivable that two sets of players from the same same side could clash heads in a match. I noted that the AFL is considering mandatory head protection and the way this is going the sooner they introduce it the better.

In the meantime the PAFC have to get the act together and tighten up their HIA procedures. I find it hard to believe that Port are not following the correct AFL procedure as we are usually pretty good at that. Maybe some time down the track Sam Mayes will sue the AFL or PAFC, if he hooks up with this Cassie Burton woman it sounds like he will not lack encouragement.
