Likewise. They've got some handy backups who can carve you up consistently throughout the day.I'm not so worried about the starting on ballers. More the lack of depth in our midfield

Our midfield fortunes will depend a large part on big O. He should be dominant in this game - whether or not lycett plays.
It all depends on the intensity of our spares who go in there doesn't it.I'm less worried about that tbh.
Neale, Dunkley, McCluggage, Berry, Robertson, Bailey, Zorko, Rayner
^ you've got your core guys in that group, but guys who can jump in for a few stoppages when needed. I think we'll be fine.
Can't wait for Gunston to ruck in the prelim.
Well done .Just keep him there until after the finals.I’ve been keeping gunners in a safe house after BRABS DISGUSTING comments about knee capping him.

I’m under orders from fages to release him three days prior to our prelim
I never understood it at all but after watching Fages break down a little in his response to Marcus Adams retirement I can now appreciate why he threw Gunners a lifeline.Don't forget to top up his water bowl and take him for walkies
My opinion which as I have said before is worth nothing, is that Port's midfield will be the best in the comp because of the elite talent they have there but they're all still fairly young and I'm not ready to say that they are better than a midfield that includes Gawn, Petracca and Oliver, arguably 3 of the top 10-15 players in the game at the moment.Funny that...on SEN yesterday they are saying Port's midfield are the best in the competition. I guess it depends on what story the media want to go with relative to the audience they want a reaction from.
Bailey in particular is an x-factor to me. He can and absolutely will rip a game apart in the midfield one day, let's hope sooner rather than later. If he can work on some of his weaknesses he could be one of the best forward/mids in the game.I'm less worried about that tbh.

But we would likely be removing Lachie from that scenario, lets not count our chickens before they hatch though with Levi who hasn't even been drafted yet and Will who still has to come back from an ACL, which I am sure he will.Remember ours will also include Will and Levi in a year or so. The addition of those two will put us above Port IMO

I’m less concerned then I would normally off the back of berry’s recent form. Changes though if he falls away. Bailey Zorko and Rayner are bit part midfield players only.

Yes I was waiting for that side to come out, maybe he's not even in the finals "squad" ... Unless the fitness staff think he and maybe others need the run.Lyons being named to play VFL this weekend would surely indicate he's in line to be dropped for Linc
It's still the first week of finals and there is still a VFL premiership to be won. It makes sense that the club is giving the VFL team the best chance to win by including Lyons, who is now a fringe player in the VFL line up.Yes I was waiting for that side to come out, maybe he's not even in the finals "squad" ... Unless the fitness staff think he and maybe others need the run.
Where did you see the side? Can not see it on lions.com.
Ah Chee had only 9 wing attendances last week so mostly forward.Metres/disposal is interesting. We're quite a direct team with our ball movement so for Port to be even more direct than us shows how aggressive they are with their ball movement.
Bring the pressure and turn the ball over could really expose Port who seemingly will give us opportunities
I'd like Ah Chee to play as a pressure forward along with Linc and push Bailey up the field more. Clamping Houston and Bergman will be very important

Assuming Fletcher stays in you would think Ah Chee plays a similar role in the final.
Kind of looks like any potential sub is playing though.Lyons being named to play VFL this weekend would surely indicate he's in line to be dropped for Linc
