I'm watching it alone at home ..however would love to go to match ...never been to a granny

I’m watching it at home too.

The son, daughter and the wife will be coming around to glance at the screen or to see why I’m screaming so plaid every 5-10 mins.

I’ve already ordered the deboned Maryland, the pork neck/shoulder…. I’ll making a gyro which goes on early and will be massacred up until 10-15 mins before the game.

If I haven’t over eaten, I’ll be pouring myself a fine dram and savouring the moment up until the first bounce. Once that occurs, I’ll go berserk, scream, yell, abuse the bears and the umpires, I might even yell at fly too.

By games end, I’ll have no voice, but hopefully, get to witness my 3rd flag and the first with my kids understating the gravity of the situation.

Melbourne showed their true, petulant selves after we beat them.

They made Maynard the villain to deflect from being, IMO, one of the 2 best list in the comp, to a poorly coached team that relies on talent to win.

We must win the flag. We are 20-5 for the year and many are disrespecting us.

We are here for a reason.

I think that’s the right decision. We have enough players that can play Hb role. GF’s are won in small moments and ginni is the type that can kick 3 goals from 6 possessions. We need that

I am happy with the Frampton in as a starting point. Would have Ginni in 22, dropped lippa purely based on performance and had noble as sub. Don’t see that happening and the hard luck stories should be McStay and Adam’s ..could be wrong though!

If I could have an early game dream/request (other than kicking 12 straight goals in the first quarter obviously), but more realistically would be Mason with a big mark and goal early, firing up and getting stuck into Harris Andrew's.

I've got a reoccurring nightmare of Harris being a brick wall and cutting our forward raids down over and over, getting the big American fired up early and under Andrew's skin will go along way to cup 16.

A friend of mine thinks there will be a surprise with the sub, given fly's words on radio. Fy wasnt happy with our style, and my friend thinks fly wants to increase scoring, so wouldn't be surprised if they bring Ginni into the 22 and make someone else sub.

Line by line, they have the talent.
Very glad that the club wasn’t seduced into a small replacement for McStay. That would have lead to pulling Howe out of the back 6, and the back 6 are our only hope of winning this thing. We cannot out score them in a shootout. Have to turn it into a grind.
Throw in a near 30 degree day and the odds are further pushed towards the Brions advantage.
I’m struggling to find just how we win this thing.

I don't think so, but dropping Oleg for JFN would be brutal but not outside the realms of possibility.

Was interesting listening to Peter Daicos on Sen around 8:30 this morning, basically saying the hot weather, and larger coverage of space the MCG has plus we have better runners. I reckon he might be onto something here. I wouldn't mind seeing Noble in as the Sub giving that extra run instead of Ginni.
