I can't do it.

I have been tossing thoughts around my head about whether to go to the G and watch the game.
I even found flights for a quick in/out turnaround (reasonably priced I may add).

Then I remembered 2018 and how horrible I felt and wondered if I could do it again.

I have the sickly, nervous, excited and dizzy feeling that only this situation can place us in.

My wife suggested, if I didn't want to go, we could go down to a bar and watch it there.

Sadly though, I think I will just watch it at home, alone with my thoughts, feeling every bump, every decision and every emotion.

To all my faithful who are going, I wish you well and hope with all my heart that we get that win, that we all pray for.
I know if we win, I may have regrets about not attending but I will take the regrets, if I can take the win.

Who knows, tomorrow I may wake up, change my mind and jump on a plane.

Anyone think that Frampton will actually start in defence on Hipwood, with Howe starting up forward on Harris Andrews?

Its what I would do. Hipwood rarely dominates opponents or the scoreboard, whilst Howe has already proven that he can not only keep Andrews quiet and also kick goals. I doubt the Lions would be expecting it, so might pay early benefits by catching them off guard. Thoughts?

I don’t see us going with Murphy, Moore AND frampton.

I’m a sucker for that too. I have an ‘archive’ from the 2010 GF. Full of merch I couldn’t resist, plus the Footy Records of both games, my tickets, poster, coasters, stickers - it goes on and on.

Yeah, I need more stubby holders & polos.

If we were to win they'd be going back to the AIA Centre at some stage on Saturday night. And of course there's Family Day on Sunday.

Watching alone at home is good because if I want to yell, cheer, cry, laugh, swear, or just take it all in.
I can without any judgement.

At the ground Anzac Day, QB, or some of the other bigger H&A days is fun.

Grand Finals are not fun, they are torturous.

I’ll be at home alone. The Mrs doesn’t want to see me jumping up and down on the couch, doing somersaults on the carpet and cursing every error so she’s going out and taking the kids with her.

I've been hit with covid so I'm another who will be watching at home alone. Thankfully the worst of it seems to have passed so hopefully I won't be in any real discomfort come GF day.

I never thought I'd be watching a Pies GF alone but honestly can't say I'm any less pumped! It'd be great to be in Melbourne with a ticket to the game but I'm just glad we're playing. Go Pies!

I think that’s the right decision. We have enough players that can play Hb role. GF’s are won in small moments and ginni is the type that can kick 3 goals from 6 possessions. We need that
