When my eldest son (now in his 30s) came home from hospital his cot was already resplendent with black and white ribbons - this worked because he is of "the faith" .
My second son was born 2 years later - driving him home from hospital in his baby capsule I did a lap of Victoria Park - this didn't work as he couldn't care less about football but at least he hasn't defected to some other (enemy) mob.

My 2 boys had no choice really but have fully embraced their Collingwoodism now to the point all other teams are “crap” and Carlton are “nerds”.
