There were moments in the game where it was right there for the taking and we just couldn't quite get it done.

A great game to watch, would have been amazing to snatch a victory but lots of good signs. Hats off to Hammer after being moved on to Daniher.

Shame we couldn't pinch that, fans deserved it after the past month of footy.

Lots of positives though, everyone seemed to play far more freely throughout most of the match.

We won't win many games kicking 7 goals like last week but we won't win many letting the opposition kick 19 either.

The way Brisbane marked inside 50 so easily in the first quarter was awful but outside of that it was a decent game.

Henry was electric in the second half - his hands are so clean and so ****ing fast it's unreal.

Shame King couldn't have clunked those chances he had in the last quarter.

The hammer in defence looks like something worth considering. Just don't let him kick it after he takes a big intercept mark.

Whatever we did in the final quarter, can we work out how to apply that every week, if I'm not mistaken, it was enjoyable.

I thought after our final last year that the midfield was not going to take us any further, and so far this season it is worse with Steele off the boil, no Crouch, Clark and Ross too slow, Dow just OK and Hill playing bruise free-footy, and Wood a bit inconsistent. Henry looked at home when he went midfield.

Got closer than I'm sure most suggested originally, going by the clench-o-meter, majority should also be happy that we lost, and barring some major brain fades and poor skill expressions, we really should have pinched that match actually.

The midfield worked well at centre bounces. Campbell makes a huge difference. He had a great first half and fed the mids well. Think we won centre clearance.

The missed frees and 50s were frustrating as usual. If L Neale admits to 'drawing' free kicks then I expect he will be suspended.

Every time we got near them, the umpires made sure they got another goal.

Pretty pitiful poor one side umpiring.

Best we have played for a while. I think Campbell and Roh worked well, Henry came good, Arie was terrific, finally the connection through the guts came good.

But I don't care what some nuffies say here the umpires were so inconsistent paying frees to Brisnmbane and not to the Saints. Really it just killed the game.

The faster Arie gets to 50 the better we are going to be. Seriously, once he starts intercepting. Look out. Kid can football.

NAS Sincs and Shoey is an elite kicking backline.

Last years class looks great so far.

Wilson was awesome especially when others struggled.

Sincs mostly back to it. Losing three defenders will always hurt and it showed a lot. Cama was so so on a tough opponent.

Midfield burnt their tickets in the first half and I think the two rucks worked really well.

Nice to see the forwards get some reward.

Butler tried way too much although on balance our forward line just looks more dynamic.
Well done to Higgins too. Thought he was good last week and this week top notch.

Steele is clearly injured.

Can’t carry injured steel Ross jones Hunter dow and windy.

Moving guys like Seb and Jones out for Nas and someone like LDU would make a massive difference. If Steele was still fit and Dow was playing at his best we'd look much better. Frustrating that it's taken this long to play attacking footy.

It's been our issue for 10 plus years!

I was a bit mystified by that crucial centre bounce that clearly went McInerney's way but wasn't recalled, in the last quarter. Then we get one go our way and it's recalled.

Campbell did pretty damn well I thought.

Arie’s boot is a weapon, just needs to work on his positioning when defending.

Henry has that zip we crave.

Happy with the effort overall, actually outscored them after quarter time.

Highest score this year, proves Brisbane ain't making the finals this year. Good on the future boys for fighting it out.That fightback, gives me alot of hope moving forward. Just get rid of the so called experienced deadwood
