There will be street parties, strangers embracing in the streets, there will be dancing and champagne. And then we will wake up. Because that pratt is never getting sacked. He will move on only when Alberton is a pile of smouldering ashes that he cannot do any further damage to.
Carn....surely he's earned the right to leave when he feels it's his time.

I long for deaths sweet embrace.

For Ken

The funny thing about all of this is that the surefire way to get rid of all of this horrible 'division' is to just sack Hinkley. The 90% of Port fans who want him gone will be satisfied, and the 10% of happy clappers who want him to stay will forget he ever existed as soon as the new coach they can happily clap for is announced.

If you don't like division, then sack Hinkley.
Don't forget to sack CD and Richo too and then the place would be harmonious.

I think it's important he goes now, bearing in mind the physical and mental welfare of the players. I genuinely think that Hinkley's game plan, plus his derogatory comments about the players (eg in recent press conferences), are having a negative effect on their careers. This can't continue - I'm confident their careers will flourish as soon as Hinkley walks out the door for the last time.
Don't forget the mental wellness of supporters too!

“We’re really confident in what we do done well works, but at the moment it’s not being done well, so that’s why it’s not working, so we do have confidence that if we can get back to doing it well we are a very capable side, which the early part of the season suggests and unfortunately the last three weeks don’t.” - Ken Hinkley, Coach of the Port Adelaide Football Club

What is the argument for actually keeping Ken these days?

Is it purely contract, the fact it is mid year and the hit to the soft cap we'll take? I mean lets hope he has no more than a 6 month payout attached.

Do we think we'll lose some players to trade outs if he was to go?

I can't think of any other valid argument for keeping him.

He doesn't get results, he isn't good for marketing, his presence is hindering our players. I mean what other argument is there?

'Who else' is certainly not an argument. It's a fear tactic to use on the ignorant.
It's a fair question - the only plausible one I can think of is that Koch doesn't want to be proven wrong. Which only proves that Koch isn't a true Port person, because if he was, he'd put the club first and sack him.

Bookmark this. When Hinkley goes so does CD. CD has an exit plan.

As much as we love Norts, he needs to go and get Hitaf Rasheed back or someone of her ilk. I won't post the all reasons for this. You might think this isn't a big priority but it 100% is. She would have never let the farce that is happening atm get any legs.

lol, 41 points and cruising late in the 3rd. Not sure it was the toughest 'game', maybe a tough last quarter.
Probably tough to take because they had us on toast and it was only a bit of poor coaching by him in the last quarter that even gave us a sniff and it was only by the grace of a Mcentee tackle that we won. Also note that Sam learnt his lesson and won the following week as a result. That's what good coaches do.
