The 5 of 6 final losses by average of 9 goals (is it really that much?) needs to be brought up at the AGM. It's appalling. No-one can defend that.

None of those games were competitive. The ones that were "close-ish" on the scorelines (Sydney and GWS) were basically them putting the cue in the rack when it was obvious we brought no threat.

It's absolutely laughable that piss Davies and "woohoo" Richardson keep saying we're "close" when you actually look at our finals.

Koch only looks at data that don't make him and Hinkley look stupid. He clearly glosses over stuff like 3 finals wins in 10 years, or the fact that we've lost 5 of our last 6 finals by an average of 9 goals, because they don't suit his agenda.

Absolutely, but at the time it was like we were coaxing out a reluctant coaching savant while being egged on by Geelong flogs with our 'best interests' at heart.

Shows how desperate and out of options we were as well I guess.

Regardless of how he was appointed it's hard to deny that he was the right man for the job at the time. But that was more than 12 years ago. It's since been proven that he's not capable of taking the team to the next level (ie grand finals and premierships). That's perfectly fine, it's a high bar. The actual blame falls on the board and senior management for being too stupid and/or gutless to recognise this and move him on.

I don't want Carr any more either, he's been in this bizarre system too long and doesn't seem hungry enough to push the club to make a decision now.

Like I have posted prior, there has been no official announcement from the club on any succession plan.

The club needs to clean out a few more idiots running the show and then look for the best possible option for head coach, a complete fresh start.

These were the main points in Richo's email to me.

1) We finished 2nd.
2) The club is not toxic. A direct hit back at me because I called the system toxic.
3) The system is far from broken.
4) the players are behind Ken for season 2025.
5) Membership is up.
6) Of course we didn't make a GF unfortunately. (Number 6, obviously not a priority)
6) we are a young exciting team and will add some more experience to it, Atkins lol.
7) we should be excited about 2025.

This is the clubs logic somewhat in order.

In other words he took a big dump in my in box.

We are ****ed unless we have a big clean out, the next coach will come into this strange club and not be pushed for results.
