Gray - very good game up forward in conditions that were far from ideal. Finished with 4.1 from 14 touches to continue his strong form since coming across in the MSD from Essendon
Coulthard - really pleased to see him rebound from a quiet patch of form. Was involved in a lot of play through the midfield today, now he needs to continue on and not drop away again.
Dow - plenty were critical of his game, but he played to his strengths of winning the ball in close and feeding it out by hand for teammates to spread from the contest. Got caught out a couple of times trying to do too much, but a solid outing for him.
Trezise - was a general down back in the first half when the game was a tighter contest. Quieter in the 2nd half as we got on top. In good form overall and ready for another chance at senior level.
Cumberland - took a while to work his way into the game, but once he got involved offensively he made things happen. Didn't hit the scoreboard himself, but had a hand in allowing others to do so.
Bauer - solid down back in the first half, then copped a knee to the ribs/kidney in the 3rd and was ruled out for the game. Hopefully just precautionary and he'll be right to play next week.
Hayes-Brown - got worked over by his opponent in the ruck, but still showed some very good signs. His willingness to compete for the footy on the ground is impressive and some of his handballs were quite smart for a player just learning the game.
Green - like Coulthard had been pretty quiet the last couple of weeks so it was great to see him bounce back with a 5 goal haul including 4 in the last. Like Coulthard he needs to continue on for the remainder of the season.
Smith - like Trezise and Bauer he was solid in the first half and very clean with the ball during the 2nd quarter when conditions were at there worst. Ready to go if an opportunity presents.

Steely and Gray the only 2 worth considering next week.
Steely did **** all until the game was done and then he filled his boots in junk time.

I wanna see more than that before I give him another go.

Well done to the lads kept at it and duly deserved the win.

Was happy with Cumbo when he played more on ball. 17 disposals and 7 tackles.
Steely Greene 4 goals in the last qtr superb effort and finished with 5
Campbell Grey going to be a player kicking 4, could've had 5
Started slow Coulthard with bad decision making but ended up playing one of his better games.

On the VFL guys Davidson, Garner, Wilson and George were all very impressive.

Think we have done quite well with our MSD recruits in Blight and Gray
Looking like excellent picks at this stage.
Gray is only 20, and hasn’t been involved in the elite junior programs, I reckon he has plenty of upside.
Blight looked fantastic from game 1 in the 2s, and great debut against a couple of very good KPFs today.

Only watched the 2nd half, but Gray , as well as kicking 4, gave off a couple.
He’s pretty clean below the knees for a guy his size, quick hands.
Is it just me or are those arms really long.
Plenty to work with , I watched about 30min worth , looked to be blowing pretty hard which you’d expect as he was a PT footballer a month ago . Reckon he will get a crack at it before the years out , really attacks the footy hard , the coaches would love that

Gray and Steely excellent games

Thought Nigel played a good game racking up 24 ( just shy of Dows 25)

Cumbo was good….set up a few goals….and provided excellent pressure…Game high .7 tackles well done
