I don't think I've ever been happier to see Robina win a match! Well done to the Roos. The idea of Yeronga having it all their own way this season left a really bad taste in my mouth, so I was thrilled to see the result. Great stuff!
On the power lines issue, it is pretty annoying and a bit...
Based on last weekend's results, I'd say there are three teams in the comp at the moment.
1. Yeronga
2. Daylight
3. Robina
I'm predicting that after Yeronga obliterates Robina on the weekend, there will only be one team with a realistic chance of winning the comp.
Aspley
Caloundra
Coorparoo
Caboolture
Robina
Kenmore
I've tipped Kenmore because I reckon Yeronga are full of it and even if they're not, half their big recruits won't bother turning up. Also, I reckon the bears could not possibly have gone as far backwards as people are saying.
Moro is it possible for you to post your umpiring schedule in advance on here so clubs have the opportunity to prepare for when you will be umpiring us?
hahaha. so true. we're nothing if we aren't discussing Notts and Muggsy and how they're going to tear us all new ones. God I hope someone beats them.
BTW are Chunk#5's posts sponsored now or something? Have you sold out?
My top 4 are
Yeronga
Coorparoo
Robina
Aspley
I have no idea who will come fifth as I reckon the bottom teams will generally all be as rubbish as each other. Why on earth are people saying Kedron will be top 5? they are a bloody rabble.
Just heard they are putting up four teams from div 3 and 4. Seems like a real dilution of talent in this grade. Why on earth would they do it? Also the extra travel time for the Brisbane teams is ridiculous.
Funny to see UQ go up. They'll be missed in our division, but they've just guaranteed...
Can anyone from Caloundra confirm whether this is in fact what happened? Seems plausible, but it would be disappointing for those involved in getting the club and clubhouse to where they were that it could be taken away like this.
Seems like Caloundra might be in for a rebuilding year on and...
C Stirling has gone to uni so I imagine he'll be the one that is looking over his shoulder. In saying that he was probably the best CHB in the competition last year so not too sure what Kenmore will actually have to throw at him.
My mates at Kenmore told me that other than...
Coorparoo Vs Uni – Uni by 7 points
Wynnum Vs Aspley – Wynnum by 78 points
Yeronga Sth Bris Vs Caboolture – Yeronga by 93 points
Alex Hills Vs Kenmore – Alex Hills by 157 points
Robina Vs Beenleigh – Robina by 102 points
Redcliffe Vs Pine Rivers – Who the hell are Pine Rivers? Redcliffe by...
Why's that Chicka? Are you w***ers trying to sign him up? He'd probably get captain at this rate.
Thanks for the heads up. Was considering going to the Normanby on the weekend, but I think I'll give that the big side step.
Chicka, nice to hear from you. I'm not affiliated with any clubs anymore. Haven't been for some time. Just think that a club that is seriously in need of an image makeover might have chosen a better example to their players to assist them with that.
No one's writing you off mate. Just a comment that with fat rabs at the helm, Yeronga could possibly be more obnoxious and arrogant than ever before (if that is humanly possible). You guys have the easy end of the draw and could scrape into finals if one of the good sides has a massive injury...
Cameron Stirling who was the CHB for the bears last year has gone to UQ. He left the bears because of some issues with the current coach. Looks like he was the treasurer once though. Unless he is still doing his old club's books??? haha.
