I dont see the relevance of this and 10 A's football in south aus??
Oh and Seb Townsend is a star... Definatly worthy of such an elustrious position as 10A captain...
KPP still have to be quick... at first 18 level you would want to be either 6'8" or weigh 120kg to get away with not moving... and the next great key forwards are already playing first 18 at SHC, Cameron DeVisser and Darcy Armfield
How long ago was that game... i think it was week 2 of term one... 3 months ago... you boys really are hanging on tight to that win arent you... might aswell, its the only thing your gonna have to show for this pathetic season of yours...
It's not just sending a side over, it's an annual exchange that has been happening for the last 50 years. So it's not a matter of deserving it, but history... Also, SMC have a few guns that make up the team, but whats going to happen next year when they leave, from what i hear your not that...
doesn't matter if it was going to be a joke, SHC lined up against PAC with a depleated roster, i didn't hear any boo hoo's about that... they played the best team they could regardless of who was out... oh and well done on your win, it seemed to get you far in the season...
In round 1 most teams have inexperienced players waiting to develop. SHC's team has changed a great deal scince round 1 and they are playing much better footy, just ask anyone from Rostrevor or Saint Peters.
I don't know if a win against SHC shows they have some depth. There lack of consitent scores shows they dont have depth. They rely heavily on a few players and when they're not there, they have lost...
I used to play school cricket and club baseball... I gave up on cricket.
Baseball to me is much more enjoyable to play, there is a lot less standing in one position for hours...
Well ive heard St. Micheals also had a few quality players out aswell. Players like Ebert, Fairclough, Davoren and broadbent just to name a few. If that is the case St. Micheals probably thought this game would be a walkover after hearing they went down to SHC by 20 goals and Rostrevor probably...
I doubt he would get drafted. Does he play for a league side, because playing well at college level probably wouldn't be enough to attract any major attention.
Caned St. Micks did they... 20 points doest really sound like they caned them, where was it played because on such a perfect day 20 points isnt that much...
Voss, where are you from... you're are supporting modbury, but you sound like your from tasmania bringing race and sexual orientation into this argument... this is a footy website, if you want to talk about gays and afghanis, find somewhere else...
i reckon that for stars, it wouldnt matter what school you went to, but for those who are good, but not dominant, it helps to go to a better know shool where scouts are looking more often.
Cheers
I havnt played with raymo, but i have played with a kid alot like him. And as a midfeilder, i hate working my ass off to get the ball to a forward, and they give up becuase its 3 cm to the left. thats why i rate raymo, he works hard as any body when the ball is on the deck, and his athletisism...
ohh eroll i would give anything, just to be like him.
Im sorry, but it had to be sed sometime
Thank you for taking your time and consideration in reading my post, much appreciated
Hmm, i agree with everything that was said. Especially about the height, the main reason saints beat us was because they were just a physically bigger side, skills would have both been around the same but like i said, the height factor killed us.
Cheers
SHC year 10's are a good TEAM but dont have too many stars, apart from Hartlett and Macnamarra. They are all mates and play for each other and for their school, not for themselves, which is why they won the amount of games they did.
