Stringer won't last past GWS' pick 12. Likely top 7 is Whitfield, O'Rourke, Plowman, Toumpas, Wines, Stringer, Menzel. Cal Twomey tweeted last night that there's a whisper GWS to pass on Brodie Grundy and slip to us. I think it is unlikely though and we'll most likely get Lonergan or Garner.

Tippett has not nominated for the ND so he will get picked in the PSD. Looks like Menzel is a certain top6 pick now but Jake Stringer a genuine chance of falling to us at p16.

Definitely a win-win situation for mine. Geelong get a 1st ruck for the next 2-4yrs allowing Simpson/Vardy to improve or to draft a new ruck man and develop him. North get a nice pick for an ageing, albeit quality, 1st ruck that's surplus to their needs.

I very much doubt we will trade one pick for two in return. It just doesn't make any sense this year. I think Wells will be holding on to p15 very tightly.

I can't see a deal getting done here. Brown is important to our future and we've put a great deal of development into him. We'll never be paid what he's worth to us and therefore a deal won't get done.

Plowman will definitely be gone by our pick. I think it would be a good idea to get a KPD with our first pick though, with Lonergan aging, Scarlett gone and the potential exit of Brown (who will only ever be a third tall down back anyway). I'd be very happy snaring Kristian Jaksch...

Four years with us is probably long enough for a first round pick to prove his worth. Adelaide have a bit to offer I think with some good young players but Freo are in a better position in terms of draft picks with 16, 37 and 56.
