No kidding. I was referring to the Geelong players of the 08 GF - they were cocky and did not respect their opposition enough, and that played a significant role in the defeat. Well there is an argument that Hird is too much of a "nice guy", akin to Knights. He was a star on the field and has an excellent football brain but whether that transpires into coaching ability is a different story. Next year will be the better barometer for him..
