Crouch's 2017 was pretty damn good, not just disposals, but his speed and break away from clearances.
Most in Vic wouldn't have seen him play every second week and if your name isn't Bontempelli or Cripps, Vic media don't realise if you play well or not.
Parish in 21 was really good, but...
Alternatively, clubs might look at more than 1 year.

2021 was an anomaly.
Any club who gives him a deal north of $800k (band 1) should be shut down.
Which he probably thinks makes the punishment worth it.
Irresponsible by the TV station to put that on TV, but they're just going for clicks.
Same deal as the story about sharks feeding off the while nearPt Lincoln last night..."people are too close to the sharks and are irresponsible" - yet...
I don't think not getting pick 50-70 in this year's draft is anything to cry about if we get nothing next year.
Regardless of what happens next year, it's the right decision IMO.
Mitch Thorpe - pick 6 in 2007 (Hawks), delisted at end of 2009 (3 seasons) - 2 games
Beau Dowler - pick 6 in 2005 (Hawks), delisted at end of 2010 (5 seasons) - 16 games
Pick 6 curse strikes again, but we've gone back over 15 years to find a couple of examples.
Really? Got a source for this?
GC wouldn't have accepted a pick this year, so maybe we kept Geelong's 3rd next year? What, a pick in the early 50s? That's the same value as what we'd have got for Fish this year, plus would probably have had to pay some of his salary.
Correct. You don't lose on an investment until you sell it.
If you purchase 1000 shares at $5, then they drop to $0.01, do you sell and say "at least I got $10", or do you ride it out and risk the $10 for the chance the price might increase again?
Maybe paying players to play at other clubs isn't the absolute disaster some people make it out to be.
It happens ALL the time in MLB.
We don't want it to happen, but it's not shut the club down type of hysteria
Hmm, what's the preconceived idea SEN is trying to give here...let's take a quick look at the photos for who the good and bad guys.
SEN is the Woman's Day of AFL media.
I'd probably go for Harry Himmelberg ahead of Redmond, I think he has the ability to play defence, mid and forward, and an elite leg.
GWS's cap is still surely tighter than Essendon's so the ability to match an offer would be less I'd think.
I'd argue ROB's 13 pressure acts to Gawn's 10 and English's 12 is more relevant but if you think meters gained is the important stat, we'll agree to disagree.
