Nah I like it, would be good as a standard setting, heart-on-sleeve type. A nice pairing with the ‘lead by performance’ type that Dawson is

He’s very team first , driven , speaks brilliantly and is a great story and example for some of the more talented young guys

You don’t need to be the best player to be captain , just like the best players don’t always make the best coaches

We're having a stellar run if this captaincy decision ends up being a "defining" moment for the club, seeing how nothing of a decision it is with our list at the moment.

Nah, he made a couple of very selfish errors as acting captain. One was a continued mouthing off that cost a 50 and the other he kicked the ball away after it was very out of bounds, resulting in a free instead of a throw in. If it had been Fog’s lack of discipline you’d have cleared his locker for him. But Keays you’ll ignore or excuse because he tries hard all the time. Not VC material IMO.

He should rein in his discipline for sure in those instances you mention .. but keep his passion
