Been a long time since I've posted on BF but I've got it from a very good source that GWS could pick up Henry if he walks to the ND with pick 19. GWS looking to offload that pick for O'mera, but if that falls through they could use it on Henry. They see it as "banking" an F1 for next year by...
Was sent this this article about Jacob Hopper's illness that the Giants kept secret over the pre-season. Looks like he'll be right for R1 though

With Beams in the side competition for midfield spots will be TIGHT next season.
Right now you would think:
Phillips, Sidebottom, Beams
Grundy, Adams, Treloar
With Pendles and Sier on the bench (Aish and Thomas rotating).
I like Mayne, and I think he had a ripper season, but with Beams...
So it is my understanding that Collingwood can go into draft deficit if we don't have enough points for the f/s Will Kelly and academy prospect Isaac Quanor. The deficit tab will be picked up by a future pick in whichever round that the bid was made. So if Quanor is bid on with pick 15, thats a...
Some more news on Patton. If he goes, and it’s a big if, it’s between us, the Hawks and the Saints. We have the lowest money of the three but are offering the longest contract (4 years)
I remember when we signed Dunn everyone said he was cooked. Played about 3 games in the seniors that year. Everyone has been calling for a cheep Dunn like replacement defender that can be used to take the big key forwards. That is Jordan Roughead.
Also, even though Dunn had a very good year...
Langdon seem like the perfect sell high candidate. Yeh he played well in the GF but we are stacked with players in his position (3rd tall):
- Howe
- Murphy
- Appleby
- Maynard (can play smaller)
- Goldy (can play bigger)
Langdon and Finlayson are similar type players. Give Langdon the diz and pick up Finlayson for half the price (salary wise) and get pick 26 in the process. Big win!
What are your guys thoughts about trading our first round pick (18 or 19) for Jacob Weitering, if Steven May falls through. Given that the Blues didn't get a compensation pick from the AFL they might be interested in it as fodder for McGovern.
Can anyone tell me what is wrong with Scharenberg?? Why is he not playing, and why did he not play any of the JLT games? Did he run over Buck's dog or something??
So I am preparing for my Ultimate Footy Draft on the 11th of March and there is a player that I am looking at closely - Travis Boak.
With the addition of Motlop and Watts, I would have thought that he would be playing more of an inside midfield roll (more fantasy points) than the half forward...
This trade period has definately vindicated the Ned Guy appointment without him even doing anything. Hine just doesn't cut it at the trade table, looking forward to the change .
We will have some serious pace in 2018 if him and Crisp are our runners off the half back line. Will help Maynard move into the midfield. Seems like he has the pace, but wonder if he has the defensive edge as well...
To be honest I can imagine this happening with the Mayne deal. We wanted him to come to the pies and we offer him a 3 year deal. The compensation that Freo receive is not enough to land brad hill. Freo slightly threaten us that if we don't help us with them getting a better pick by adding an...
To be honest, I don't think there was any strategy or thinking going in. Seems like everyone was holding on till our Lord and Saviour NED GUY comes in to actually take control of the sinking ship given the fiasco last season. And despite their best efforts to do next to nothing, Derick Hine and...
I would love to see Schache at the pies tomorrow. Given Schache's clear issues pick 38 should be enough for us to take the chance. Still probably overs but sometimes you have to pay a bit over.
