Most clubs do not do live scores for 19s and ressies. Just input final scores.
Canteen was quiet as they ran out of food before reserves game was completed. Very poor. All prices were excessive including alcohol which was way over the top
Yes they rely heavily on Assumption players. Hence their withdrawal from the 19s competition during the season. Did not have sufficient non Assumption players to regularly field a team.
To clarify for you all - onfield umpires have ear pieces and mikes and can communicate with each other. Umpire coach on sidelines can only hear on field conversation. And they have been used all year
Car parking available at both high school (across the road) and bowling club (up the hill).
Have successfully hosted finals in previous years. Also Northern FL did not see a problem with Wallan hosting several junior finals over the last weeks
Today we farewell a stalwart of the RDFL in Charlie Watson.

I think you will find the Good Friday game was requested by clubs concerned (as has been the case over the last few years) Normally no games at Easter. Same with Anzac Day match. Just happens that Anzac Day this year follows the next weekend after Easter - doesn't always fall that way
I understand there is a hurdle with ground availability (council approval) as pushing out the season moves into the cricket season. RDFNL are in discussions and doing the best they can.

Timekeepers can easily do online scores during game. There are 2 people in box and it is one click on phone or iPad to enter. As simple as writing on scorecard. As I said laziness
