Debatable but I'll go along with you for the sake of commonsense and fair play.
Joey is without doubt número uno ... are you adding Lance, I mean to say when he gets a run on the ball he looks pretty damned good. Me thinks Parker or Hanners gotta be in the mix.
I agree ! At that time of the year many or most players have niggles or injuries. Horse and staff thought Luke would get through the game okay .... he clearly didn't.
Not using this as an excuse because in footy there are none .... BUT Parker played the GF on one leg.
I agree for H&A games the Swans looked to have the best mids .... it's all gotta come together in that last game however. For the Swans it wasn't to be, we got beaten by a better side on the...
Ya only gotta look at Sam Mitchell (or going back some years, Diesel Williams) to note that slick skills are every bit as important as leg speed, if not more important. Neither are/ we're blessed with speed but here skills and delivery were second to none.
Can't wait to see AJ back on the park. He needs a break of good luck now after years of bad luck. One of the better backmen in the League.

I thought it added a touch culture to the game. If Visy supporters wanna get all hot under the collar about that then what about what Adam had to suffer for month and months ?? The game is too sterile and correct these days. We need players that add colour (no pun intended) to the game. Acka's...
Tell the other half of the story -: Goodes had planned to celebrate a goal with that dance, yes the one that he'd been taught by a teenage Indigenous team. If the goal was kicked to the Swans end then he was still gonna perform that dance. In the same game Lewis Jetta had a dance to perform too...
I have no ferkin idea how the ladder is gonna look at the end of the season .... but here's a tip.
Swans and GWS will finish in the top 4 and Dogs will be thereabouts. Saints will improve but not in the 4. Bombers may shake a few teams during the season. Eagirls will struggle to make the grade...
I'm behind the Club 100% when it comes to what we do with AJ. In 2012 I saw a backman who I knew would go to the top, a really rific defender/backman.
Hope to one day see Alex back on the park in Red'n'White which means a full recovery .... not looking good but like him, I keep the faith.
I great servant of the Club who got everything out of his body and stood up when we needed him to.
Little brother seems to be finding his way now. Wishing Ted all the very best upon retirement. Not only a good footballer but a good bloke to have a chat with.
Wow, I coulda sworn it was Jason who was calling the game and said that ...
I was watching on AFL Live Pass ....
... anyway ! Are screws inns allowed these days or is there a longer moulded stud for slippery parks ?
During yesterday's telecast of the Swans v Port game, Piggy Dunstall said that players were slipping and yes it was noticeable that they were. He also said they should change into their screw inns ....
Now I'm not the full quid on this so I would like some comment from those in the know. I...
No need to be a genius to realise just how good the Hawks are playing atm .... it's a tad worrying to think what may happen in this game. If we don't bring our 'A' game then we'll lose, our (fans) confidence in beating the Hawks will take a dive, while the team will be doing extra homework on...
Nice start to an AFL career ..... no pressure, no high expectations but a bloody good, solid first game.
Welcome to the big stage Toby and looking forward to watching ya growth and development.
Our spiritual leader played his best game for the year. Didn't appeal for frees, played the ball and not the man, got a yard of pace back (gotta bend ya back more often Goodesy) and finished off with 3 majors .... gotta be happy with that.
1. As always, the longer the season goes on, the better Adam Goodes gets.
2. Reid is hot'n'cold but a keeper none the less ... impresses when it goes his way.
3. A very good team effort, gutsiest game for a coupla years.
Cruising along nicely. The match committee know what they're doing, who needs game time, who needs a rest and who is needed in the trenches ...
... depth equals GF's !
1. My faith in Gary Rohan is and has always been justified.
2. Sam Reid when on his game is a gun.
3. Dockers window for a Flag is still open ... depth is the key.
