Vez is still a kid, he'll be a great asset in the next few years. it was our leadership group who failed to lead big time. Bevan was hammered. Moore tried hard. Hall played half a game. Missed Micky O.

Kirky is awesome, but it was his worst game all year tonite. I guess he's not super human. and agreed, we did as best we could, still had a presence in the finals. 3rd quarter was just so disappointing.

apologies with the half empty comment, no offense intended carsoutback. its true we did get a great draw first half of season, which should have allowed us to rocket home with the wind in our sails, having warmed up and gained some momentum. it wasnt to be, and theres always next year as you say.

we will still need to develop the likes of Jack, Bird, Moore, Barlow, Thornton etc. Together with Kirk, Bolton, McVeigh, Buchannan, Bevan, Cousins, Kerr, we'd have a thumping midfield, which has been our greatest weakness this year

we are far from a retirement home. i think you may have cow fever. The likes of cousin and Kerr are in a league of their own when comparing to Matthews, Crouch etc. I am not suggesting to replace older players with the same calibre, I am talking about keeping or replacing a few older players...

i think they would be ideal. we will still blood our younger kids coming thru, but we still need some quality experience out there, despite the talk of an aging group. And we are screaming out fro some speed in the midfield. I say yes, this could be a good move. We are not talking spida here...
