What a terrible shame...
I was lucky enough to meet Mr Charlton many years ago, and actually play a game with him at the Mordialloc Hotel. Needless to say he let me pot one ball, then he cleaned up the rest. He was a brilliant entertainer and such a gentleman.
He will be sadly missed. :(
The Foxtel man told me that the $49.95 installation fee only applies to the Big Value package ($68.95 per month) and above, where as the Basic Package ($49.95 per month) will have an installation fee of $109. I opted for the Big Value so I could escape the $109 fee and then I can always drop...
Just finished watching the new WWE dvd "Mick Foley's Greatest Hits & Misses", and I must say that was the best 180 minutes I've had in a long, long time! I recomend this dvd to any wrestling fan, and if you are like myself and think Foley is the best thing since sliced bread, you will...
I absolutely love British comedy, but if I had to choose......
Only Fools and Horses
Delboy and Rodders (and as much as I love Uncle, I have a soft spot for Grandad) are just brilliant. Doesn't get much better IMO.
People who insist on rustling chip/lolly bags at the movies. And they always manage to sit next to/behind me. Any sort of noisy wrapper or bag should be banned from cinemas, maybe the cinema could provide a small box or bowl for people to put their chips etc into. Drives me mad!!

For a second there I thought you were referring to the Outkast song "Hey YA" which is an absolute classic - best song of the year!
Maybe you are thinking of Fatman Scoop and Crooklyn Clan. I can take or leave the song, but I do like the clip......
If you want to hear some amazing tantric chanting/throat singing forget Dylan Lewis..... check out the Gyuto Monks of Tibet. I was lucky enough to experience an awesome "concert" performed by the monks when they stayed on the Mornington Peninsula a year or so ago. The sounds that the Grand...
I'm a fan of all three, but I guess if I had to choose I'd go with Metallica. I mean Nirvana were good, but really if it wasn't for Kurt Cobain topping himself they would go down as just another grunge band. Ditto for Pearl Jam, although at least they are still around - but Eddie Vedders voice...
How I envy you Rusty. I would have loved to have gone tonight but I just couldn't afford it. Whoa is me :(
Please post a review and depress me even further! ;)
About time. Both Pauline and David Etteridge deserve an apology, not that they will get it.
I hope they sue the QLD government. And win.
They have my support.
I'm lucky enough to have a great photo of Bon asleep on a friends couch, but geez I don't like your chances of finding a (genuine) signed picture of him.
But if you do, please let me know
Just read this on the WWE website:
World Wrestling Entertainment is saddened by the loss of Michael Lockwood, known professionally as Crash Holly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Michael's friends and family.
I'm speechless.
Vale Crash Holly :(
I had kids come to my place tonight "Trick or Treating" in their school uniforms with plastic Safeways bags. At first I didn't know what they were on about, then I promptly informed them to go forth and multiply. They could have at least made an effort and dress up, even the old white bed...
I can't believe no one else has metioned Chris Wilson. If he is ever at a venue near you, as Molly would say - "Do yourself a favour" - and get along and see him.
You WILL NOT be disapointed!
Nathan Brown :)
Lucky enough to meet him yesterday at IR training at Rye footy ground, and he is an absolute gentleman. Now I'm even more thrilled he's at the Tigers.
GO BROWNY!
Isn't this thread supposed to be about Simon Fletcher??
Speaking of which, I met both Simon and Brendan Fevola at Splash of Color last week while they were getting tattooed. Both really nice guys, although Fevola stated that he would prefer to have played in the team that finished second...
Seems like Undertaker is going to ditch his "biker" image and bring back "The Deadman" for Wrestlemania XX.
Great way for him to finish his career, although I hope he's around for a while yet. Much prefer the deadman persona to the whole lame biker thing.
Now all we need is Paul Bearer...
