Chad Warner
When the Sydney Swans swept up Chad Warner with pick 39 at the 2019 AFL Draft, they secured a youngster with an insatiable appetite for the contest. Warner attacks the ball and opponents with aggression and is relishing calling midfield bulls Josh Kennedy and Luke Parker his teammates at the Swans. Warner impressed for Western Australia in the 2019 AFL Under-18 Championships, averaging 18.2 touches (50 per cent contested), 3.2 clearances and 6.8 tackles per game. He also tallied an average of 27.1 disposals, 6.4 clearances and 7.4 tackles per match at Colts level for East Fremantle in 2019. He earned his AFL debut against Richmond in Round 6 of the 2020 season, recording eight disposals and two tackles.

Chad Warner
DOB: 19 May 2001
DEBUT: 2020
DRAFT: #39, 2019 National Draft
RECRUITED FROM: Willetton (WA)/Aquinas College (WA)/East Fremantle (WAFL)

WC are pretty good to deal with, but the PSD looms large. The lower of their two firsts '25 and 26 first get's it done?
Sorry to intrude, happy to take it to the Chad Warner trade thread but personally if finishing positions are the same I think 3 and our F1 for Chad and 17 is fair. Corey probably in there as well if the brothers want to stay together.

Both clubs have a fantastic trade relationship with each other and as we’ve shown with Baker this year, we’ll pay a fair price if he wants to be an Eagle.

What has Baker got to do with these 2 clubs , now ##########################

You could have him for that

Never said he wasn't a good player. He is. But the hype is way OTT and I've been on his band wagon from day 1.

To a degree I agree, but the compensation has to be equitable so watch us accept a bag of used Twisties like we did with Dawson

We’ll take Reid for 2xWarners, McLean, Amartey. Deal ?

If Oscar wanted to leave (we wouldn’t push him out) our clubs could game the system to get Oscar to you and the Chad to us. I’d say we’d match any offer unless there is a deal in place between the clubs.

Would be the best of both worlds, as long as it’s not Freo I’ll take it. That said I’m past worrying about what Chad will do/wont do. Probably signs for 2 years with us that’s my gut feeling

I doubt he gets to Freo. From what I’m told Chad is putting particular weight on the financial terms, in which Freo can’t fire a shot. If history is anything to go by chances are we’re back in the big dance before them anyway. And if history is indeed anything to go by it will be against you blokes.

If only we could get some of our 2005/6 team mojo back.
