Taranto is having a good season personally but his mistakes like the goal kicking stand out in peoples minds
Was still 1 of our best tonight with 34 possessions at 68% DE and 30 pressure acts and 6 tackles
Certainly his kicking is muddying the waters but as others have mentioned would be leading our B & F this year
I think we have way bigger problems than Taranto ATM
Prestia , Bolton , Martin , Vlastuin , Grimes all leaders and experienced players that are having terrible years

Was his best game for us. Far less errors today than in previous weeks.
Still needs to learn to use the right option when we have transition opportunities. Often will go to the guy who has less space and is less likely to be able to move the ball on to a more dangerous opportunity.

He'd be top 5 but I think Rioli would be leading our B&F his running really stands out & he works very hard.
Really blind freedy could win our best and fairest lol this year.If you think that's not overs currently well your watching another player that can't kick either like I said we haven't made it easy for him the way we play.

He is getting 30+ touches a game and disposal efficiency is fine for a mid
his kicking is what it is but Cotchin , Prestia were always suspect as well but the team adjusted to that and played accordingly
taranto knows his limitations and only kicks when he has to but when there are better options he handballs

We have 44 players and blind freddy has been injured
Now you tell me apart from Rioli & Taranto which player do you believe is having a great year that is better than tarranto and if you cant find anybody apart from freddy then i would say you must be freddy
Each to there own I don't think Taranto has had a great year for what we gave up I expect a heap more and to hit targets the minimum your bar must be low . Rioli been good and Young not to bad

My gut feel is that Taranto would be way down on the BnF. Dimma has a track record of not playing guys like Shane Tuck and Anthony Miles for the extact reasons that Taranto is hurting us. Tim is a far better two way runner than those guys but nonethless I wouldn't be at all suprised if he is way lower than you'd think

There is something called the "eye test" and right now there is a good portion of Richmond supporters how are seeing that he is failing it.

Just remember if we didn't get Hopper & Taranto, Cotchin who is cooked as a chook would still be mostly in the middle of the ground things could be a lot worse.
Hes the least of our problems. If his team mates were playing their roles we'd be top 4, not bottom 4 and everyone would be praising the trade.

It's as if campaigners don't understand why we got him to the club in the first place. He's never been a damaging kick, the role is to win the contest and farm it out 30+ times a game to those that are. Put Sonsie there and watch how much more we get smacked in the middle. He's not the problem

There aren't 5 player's fullstop.Doesn’t mean his had a good year far from it besides Rioli and Young rest have been poor.
We haven't won the clearances last 2 games if that's the theory either.

Sh*t lazy argument. Going at 6 a game which is one of the best in the comp. He's not our only mid
His biggest weakness is arguably the most important aspect of the game, he's a terrible kick. Yes we suck, but his poor kicking has been a contributor to our biggest problems.

Yeah maybe we should throw Judson Clarke in the middle instead who's a neat kick and lose by 100 points a game
