He has great body work, always fights for the ball and to get possession, his handballs have been good under pressure.

It's his ability and make play that is in question.
We need to add class around him for him to win the footy and hand it off to them.

We need to draft a young ruckman badly. Not some skinny kid like Ryan in hope, but the best or one of the best tall, good framed ruckman running around the Coates League. We have zero ruckman besides Nank at the club. In two season when Nank is finished the kid will be ready for higher duties.

OHB is developing decently. Started clunking marks very nicely in recent weeks in VFL.

Long shot. Yes developing but tom Campbell gave him a bath two weeks ago. He is at least looking like short term back-up if he gets stronger.
He's been playing VFL for about a quarter of a year. Cut him some slack.

He's maybe the worst archetype for how the game is going, slow inside mid with poor disposal. His saving grace is that he can hit the scorebaord occasionally but he wouldn't be a player many clubs covet

I recognise that, and he has done really well, but he's a fair way off and the odds of making it are long. Good ruckman are rare, and most of them start off as very good juniors. We need to back that process, and if OHB comes good, that is a bonus.

One thing I noticed live on Saturday was, he doesn't push back off the mark quickly, and when he does eventually get back, he doesn't push back far enough.

He actually misses the easy (and good) option regularly, then puts himself under pressure when he does dispose of it, by being to close to the man on the mark.

A lot of our players do that, very frustrating to watch. They need to be more disciplined and give themselves enough room to nail an easy pass

We need to put the captaincy on this guy. Seriously.

You serious? He'd be a terrible poker player. It's clear he's frustrated and regretting joining after Dimma's lies. Seems like a bit of a sook to me.

You're seeing things you've concocted in your head.

How would you like him to respond in order for him to come across sincere…
Break down and cry??
Injuries killed the midfield this year and he’s genuinely pissed about that.
Only bit you got right is the frustration and that’s from players, staff and supporters.
Give him a break.

He seems very dejected in the video. Just disappointed I guess. That doesn't mean he can be a good leader (or not) but certainly in the video he seems disappointed.
