His strength in the hips when scything through traffic makes him very difficult to negate. If he can add extra polish he will be peak Nathan Brown at the very least as a forward.

Great step forward for him today. I still agree that he's a half forward though. Not really a midfielder. Isn't a natural accumulator.
A bit like how blokes like Zac Bailey and Heeney have shown signs as midfielders but they inevitably end up back in the forward line because they have more impact there.

Anyway that's not a negative - its not like we don't have room for a dangerous mid sized forward that can turn a game.
His ability to stand up in tackles is a real weapon.

So unbelievably strong through the hips, he just shakes anyone off like it's nothing and keeps such a cool head.

Was fantastic yesterday, and could have finished with 5 or 6. He might turn out to be the best of the lot.

Yep - his ability to shake tackles is something that sets him apart form his team mates. That core strength enables him to stay on his feet. He was fantastic.

i'd remove the might
he always looked a classy player with a good amount of strength and mobility.
i'd have to go back to the draft boards, but i seem to recall being keen on him the earliest of the bunch.

Holding out hope for Zach Reid to be the second coming of Christ Dustin Fletcher

Seemed quite happy about Weideman coming across in the trade period, and then suddenly back to pokerface media training 😅

"The three goals could've gone to any of the forwards, we were all running good patterns. Was just lucky to get on the end of a few"

I know that's at least 80% cliche media line, but the 'we were all running good patterns' is a nice touch.

He's shown signs before but that was his most complete game, very impressive.

We know he can do it, it's now about building consistency, especially when the heat is on against better opposition.
Looks confident in his ability (or should i say capability) and his body.

Id be encouraging his willingness to run through opponents
Even if he gets pinged here and there.

A bit like Stringer at his best, you have to accept that sometimes they'll get caught but not many players can break through tackles and create opportunities so they need to be given license to try (and know when to try).

I think he's our Heeney/Toby Greene type.

Looks signifcantly bigger & stronger than last year. Apart from a couple of times where he could have given the first/better option, he looked pretty exciting yesterday.
