That's the advantage of playing a test series at home, do you think Australian curators don't prepare pitches to suit Australia? Of course they bloody do.

That's one of the reasons test series are so hard to win away from home, the curators aren't going to roll out pitches that favour the opposition team.

We literally don’t though, not to extent of this or the Indian tour.

We prepare the same pitch at the same ground basically every year unless they get it wrong. If we were really trying to take away the oppositions strengths why would we prepare green tops for the Saffas?

These campaigners have gone next level, completely against the spirit of the game

Have you seen some of the roads the Australian curators prepare? They aren't much better than this one and in some cases they are even worse.

Most English pitches provide a better contest between bat and ball, even if the pitches are flat they usually provide better weather conditions for swing.

Pretty ordinary start for an Ashes series. Switching to the AFL....
