Wat - I mean Maxwell's previous ODI World Cup makes him a great alone, regardless of other past exploits. When on, he can literally win a game off his own bat.

But his recent form, including IPL form, has been really baaaad & looks like the glut is continuing sadly. Got credits in the bank, but you'd hope he can get runs in this series.

Maxwell is either in great form or horrible form. Nothing is ever in-between.

T20 is okay not so much about averages there you need to be able to hit sixes and lots of them. Should not be near a ODI or test match

For all the doomposting today about the crowd size, its apparently 25k. Would not be out of place for an early November weekday ODI 15 or even 25 years ago. Literally the only difference is now it's mostly opposition supporters. Play this in January and there would be 40k plus.

I haven't seen a lot of Hardie but he averages 39 at first class level and 20 in limited overs cricket. Almost feels like a waste him playing in this series and in England when he could have been batting at 4 for WA in the Shield.
