20k for this game is not bad when you consider it’s still early November, it’s on a Monday (technically a working day), received close to zero promotion, is tucked behind a paywall and not against a big drawing opposition team.

Particularly when you take into account the early 00s crowd sizes posted upthread when ODIs were still in their golden years
