Clarko, if you are listening.....

Roughy is not doing enough down forward and Hale is looking tired, so....

1. Bring in Gunston for Hale
2. Gunners and Shoey play forward
3. Shoey's mission is to hit the packs and bring the ball to ground
4. Roughy plays in the centre and takes the ballups while Big Boy is resting

Simple !

People are failing to look at the fact Ross Lyon will make this a real lock down game. So what happens in these scenarios? we kick the ball high and long. We need someone crashing the packs forward to bring it to ground. Gunston doesn't do this and Roughy not enough.
Schoenmakers should be a required player this week, heaven knows, he may actually hold on to a few of those marks he flies for

...and he is the straightest kick in our team

If lose this PF (and it'll be less than 3 goals if it happens) it will be ugliest slug fest of this generation

Shame Roughy has been so poor of late. He should be licking his lips
He played a different role on Friday and I thought he was good.

Dawson will have to play on Hale or BB and will be exposed badly.

I suspect Ruffy will get Johnson then and play most of the game as an extra mid very high forward like against the Crows, which want suit Johnson all that much I wouldn't think.

I hope the club has learned from the mistakes it made with preparation for the Eagles game. They seemed to depart from the usual build up, eg a few senior players went over to Perth a few days early etc. I hope the boys pack the boots with the stops and perhaps even train this week with them on. Even if it doesn't rain in Perth, the ground gets dewy at night.

If we beat the Dockers do we get the honour of having our name first on the GF billing or do we need North to also win for that to happen?

The club has already said that some players will travel over on Wednesday and Mitch said Friday night that they would be training with stops this week, so you presume they would be bringing them to Perth with them as well.

Funny thing... I am actually not too stressed about winning the GF. What will happen will happen.

But it would be REALLY sweet to knock Freo out.
Nah I want to win !! I just want another cup my 2014 memories of the GF are amazing... Just some classic moments... It was the best time i've ever had besides the 08 grand that was different though... I don't want us to get there and lose...go hard or go home! Three peat or bust!

I think it will be
In: Gunston, Ceglar
Out: Schoenmakers, Hale

Ceglar was a late withdrawal with Box Hill so makes me think Hale might make way. Not sure whether I like it or not. Langford didn't do enough from what I saw to put his hand up

Personally I can't see how we are such heavy favourites. Might put a pineapple or 2 on Freo as they look mighty tasty at 2.40. 50/50 game at best for us imo.

For me the key is to at least break even in clearances with their big bodied mids like Fyfe and Mundy.

Gunston certain in?

We can't afford to be making too much changes. David Hale being subbed off was simply to rest up as this will be the second time traveling in three weeks. Jonathon Ceglar has played one game of footy over the last six weeks. Bringing him into a Preliminary Final against a rested Sandilands is flirting with danger. No chance of Ceglar coming in this week.

IN: Gunston

OUT: Schoenmakers (omitted)

B: Stratton, Lake, Duryea

HB: Birchall, Frawley, Gibson

C: Hill, Mitchell, Smith

HF: Burgoyne, Gunston, Rioli

F: Breust, Roughead, Puopolo

R: McEvoy, Hodge, Lewis

INT: Suckling, Hale, Shiels, Hartung
