We are going to smash these Indians.

India have already made a massive mistake by playing no technique Shaw.

Should have played Gill this kid is a future superstar.

Smith, Green are going to be dining out on these so called world class bowlers.

Smith will make 700 runs for the Test series, guaranteed.

Going to smash them, this Indian team lost to NZ 2-0.

Australia are going to win 4-0.

Are India missing a batsmen or two...??

Few players I've never heard off before in their side.

I think the Aussies will win.

I never heard of some of their bats.
You don't bring no names here and expect them to do well.

Only change to the top 6 from the Sydney test last time is Shaw for KL Rahul. They piled on a lazy 7/622 then.

Listening to Smith and Kohli this week talking about how they want a friendly series makes me wanna vomit. For fu**s sake has Australia become so soft that even the theatre of sport has to be ruined?

When there's no antagonist/protagonist no one wants to watch a movie, in boxing/MMA the best way to gain interest is to have the 2 guys argue and create tension and drama.

Not I'm Australia anymore, just make sure that all the mum's know that everything is cuddly and friendly and no one really loses as long as they have fun 🤮

Seriously, after the game series have as many beers and be as friendly as you want, before that can we atleast pretend they care?

Oh ffs mate.

A) of course they f***ing care. Two members of the current Australian contract list cared enough to cheat. They care.

B) It's a promotion. These two know each other well and are more than capable of sitting down in a face to face setting and having a civil conversation without it meaning that they are treating it like a game of Chinese checkers on a rainy afternoon.

C) If you actually need to see two boxers teeing off on each other before a fight to get excited about it, chances are you don't really like boxing that much. Frazier-Ali is one of the rare examples of where the pre-fight garbage actually contributed to the end spectacle.

What on earth has compelled India to pick Saha over Pant?

Pant's poor batting displays. Ignore the tour matches because the Aus A attack was a joke. Saha is the far superior keeper too. They've already taken a risk with Shaw and couldn't afford to have him and pant in the side.

Batting line-ups look similar

Dodgy openers - super strong middle order - ok keeper/batsman

India have the best batsman of the 8 bowlers, but then are weak otherwise.

The difference IMO will be the quality of our spinner, 3rd paceman and green clearly the better bowling options

What poor batting displays? His IPL shouldn't really count, he played one less warm-up match than Saha who got ducks in two of his three innings, in his last tour here he got starts in every innings he played. He was poor in NZ last summer but one of his failures was a run-out, another was when he was hitting out with Shami and Bumrah for company, and another came at 7-97. If the keeping gap between the two is THAT vast I might understand it but that aside, I don't see many particularly good arguments in favour of Saha
