See the difference between Bumrah and our bowlers…
I genuinely don’t understand it. Can you explain why he bowls lengths that scare the shit out of our batsmen and take the stumps out of the ground and we bowl ones that they’re happy to leave on length or tuck around the corner and rotate the strike? Is it skill? Coaching?

Does everything with the ball, swings it both ways and seams it, ultra accurate too. Just about the perfect bowler

Early days but nerve wracking how comfortable India look at the crease. If anyone gets a ton, or even a 60+ score I can't see us chasing it down, especially if they can bat out today and most of tomorrow.

Yes but we have some of the best bowlers in the world too. Can they not do the same? It just feels like the strategy is off. We’re waiting for them to make mistakes but it’s not a limited overs match

This'll flatten out big time. 30 and sunny today, 36 tomorrow. If India stay in we're in deep shit.
We won't even get 150 amd will probably be chasing 350 for the win. But the selectors will just keep their head in the sand and ignore that we need to move Smith and Cummins on and give Labu some time in the shield.

Is a tough situation for this innings. India don't need to take any risks, have virtually unlimited time and no actual pressure to score, so mentally have a pretty huge advantage over the bowlers (who can't really afford to even have any bad balls in an over at the moment considering we really need to restrict their lead to 150 or less).

How many balls have we bowled that would hit the stumps? Why are we bowling a hard length? Get them driving

You need to factor in game situation mate. It makes such a difference to what is happening at any given time in a match. When a game starts with a clean slate and pressure is on a team going out to bat, a ball in a certain spot might feel like a hand grenade.

When you go out and your team is on top and you’ve just blown the opposition away for 100 and you’re dictating the match, the same ball doesn’t feel nearly as threatening.
