Cheers Decipher. I would only trade Grimes out if Goddard doesn't play this week, going for a league win. I too was thinking Embley. What can you tell me about his form of late being a West Coast supporter?

Also, you wouldn't prefer Montagna over Selwood? Selwood is undoubtedly a good pick, however Montagna's form before his refreshing week off is nuts! Thoughts?

With the players missing from WCE's side.
Embley is definately a player the teams looks to dish off to. Hes quite smart and a reasonably good user of the ball with reasonable pace and doesnt mind carrying the ball for abit.

He does go missing at times and is abit soft with sickness/injury.
But given only two and abit weeks remaining I see him playing it out also given his solid form I would expect this to continue given the opponents the eagles are facing. I think the more the eagles have the ball the better his scores are however he does generally do well even when the eagles do badly. I think hes a good choice.

Have to decide between upgrading Ellis to Duffield (with Burgoyne being named but no certainty) or Beams to Scott Thompson.

What do people feel the likelihood of Burgoyne playing is?

Need to get rid of one of Ellis/Grimes and also upgrade Beams to a gun mid.

Options are either

Ellis > Lockyer
Beams > Hayes

OR

Grimes > Lockyer
Beams > Montagna/Ablett

I'm wondering if people think getting Montagna or Ablett over Hayes is worth it. From what I've heard Grimes is more likely to come back before X, that's why I'm considering hanging onto Grimesy.

Also, would people take Montagna (vs Ess, Rich, Melb) or Ablett (vs Syd, Dogs, Dockers)? Monty seems to have the better run home. But is perhaps more risk of being a late out than Gazza.

Yeah its a tough one because I think Gazza is going to hit form in the last three weeks heading into the finals but he might but carrying a slight injury. Safe option would be Montagna..

Yeah but Freo are playing Geelong. I know Geelong don't have a ruckman (Unless Ottens back) but Sandi could struggle around the ground. Freo might get killed in the Mid

I have cover for both (Anthony and Wilson)

Would I be better off

a) Alan Didak for Chappy (Anthony subbing for Cross)

b) Pendlebury for Cross (Wilson subbing for Chappy)

c) wait a week and getting Hayes for Cross (Playing both Anthony and Wilson this week)
