Happy with Martin for pick 53 and 73.

Good trade 53 and 73 for Martin, basically nothing draft picks for us. Where does this leave Huddo, I would love to see him go around for another year.

Great trade for us but I echo your sentiments about Huddo.

Reckon the peoples' beard is one of those players that are loved by fans and team-mates alike.

If we have Martin and I feel bad for thinking this but I would like Hudson to be retired.

I've always liked having 4 rucks. We'll have Leuenberger, Longer and Martin as genuine rucks. If the club feels Longer is a fair way of regular senior footy, they might see Hudson as good insurance. If they feel Longer will be a contributor, then we might be happy with Merrett, Lisle and Michael as depth.

1st list lodgement is on 31 October IIRC. That's when you'll get a slightly better indication of what clubs are planning on doing.
