Mitchell has already been elevated. Wines a lock.

Hrovat will average 80+ if he plays. Two of himself, Koby Stevens and Clay Smith should get games with Boyd/Libba/Wallis locked in as the other inside mids (Cross too, but he will play a different role IMO). I've got Stevens over Hrovat at this stage, but all depends on who is named round one.

As I mentioned above, he won't be competing with those guys as he will be playing forward of centre.
He has been training with the forward group all pre season

What are people's thoughts on Marc Murphy ? Not seeing him in too many teams.

Yes, Hrovat had a quad strain and has been prevented from playing all NAB Cup.
He is the most physically ready of all of the dogs recruits. I think he is a better player than Koby but hat people don't realise is that he won't be playing in the midfield. He has been groomed as that high pressure, classy small forward.
thanks for the reply. I thought we might have been on a cyber collision course:rolleyes:
Koby can get the ball alright, but its what he does with it when he gets it.
Hrovs may be a trade after 4 or 5 weeks.
Cheers and good luck.:footy:

What does everyone think of Sam Dyer as an option?

Will he start round 1?

Buckley seems very impressed with him and loves his "play like there's no tomorrow" attitude.

I think he will get elevated off the rookie list and could be a good midfield bench option to open up MPP to your forward line.

Thoughts?

if he gets elevated majority will swing him straight onto their fwd bench

Already got him on my mids bench. I just hope he doesn't play. Can't have too many rookies playing with the loopholes

wont be playing now - jack frost has seen to that

looking at Moloneys SC scores on the Hunsite - they are not very flattering at all

I was worried about that. Had him in my team since day 1, but watching the Lions games he's been ok but not the 100 average I'd hoped for. I've been waiting for the scores to confirm my gut feeling, so it sounds like he's out.

i guess he gets it a lot but seems to butcher it... i too have ditched him

Rocky, Zorko and lately Karnezis looking more likely.

I had Moloney for ages...now its all about Patty

So Jack Frost was the only rookie that elevated to the senior list by the pies Toxic?
Hudson too

sadly not priced as a rookie and will probably play about 30% of games as Jolly is "managed" throughout the year.

Just need a long term injury to say a Didak or Ben Johnson (any fringe type player really) so Dwyer can get upgraded, Rd 7 will be fine!

Wonder if it's worth carrying Dwyer on the mid bench just for his MPP which could be very handy if you are running a 4 premium midfield like mine and may need to bolster it with a Bartlel, Rockcliff or Martin from my forward line at times?

that theory assumes you have a viable fwd bench alternative

after ablett which combination would you consider

abeltt, pendlebury, selwood, JP Kennedy
ablett, pendlebury, Kennedy, Cotchin
abeltt, swan, kennedy, selwood
ablett, swan, selwood, cotchin
