Fellas, unlike some on my board, I want to congratulate you on a good trad. Dom Tyson is exactly the type of player you blokes need and a downgrade from 2 to 9 isn't a big deal.

Ofcourse all you naive Melbourne supporters are going to think this trade was so great. The majority of neutral supporters can see it was a terrible move. You will know what I'm talking about in a couple of years when Tyson gets delisted and Aish/Sharenburg/Kelly are tearing up the AFL.

I said no such thing.

You say it was a shit trade but also have said we can't draft - and I quote *cough*Watts*cough*.

So clearly you are the bastion of all knowledge who is infallible and the MFC can do no right?

Tyson looked promising in his first season? You're joking right? He had an absolute shocker of a season.

He was played out of position in his first year. He was an inside midfielder forced to play outside because he had solid disposal by foot unlike guys like Greene. From what you've said in this thread it's pretty clear that you've got nfi about Dom

wow wake up and read a couple of rumors of Tyson being involved and laugh then read confirmation that's it's actually happening.

Massive get for us, Kid will be an absolute champion for us. Well Done MFC lets leave the trade period as is while we're winning
Ahhh, now THIS is a dees supporter ExTasDeeMan

It's pretty clear you have nfi about Dom either if you think he's so amazing.

Where exactly did I say he was amazing? He'll be a good inside midfielder. Ben Cunnington did nothing till his 4th year, is he a spud too?

Good trade :thumbsu:

I'm disappointed to lose Tyson, kinda feel like we've sold low considering where he's at but can't argue with bringing in pick 2. He was a long way off the pace this year and probably needs a couple of pre-seasons to get back on track but in saying that he'll be class once he gets that fitness back. Tyson and 9 for 2 and 20 is probably correct weight on both ends, helps us spread the age of the youngsters.

Good to see two teams having a dip in the trade period.

Good deal for both teams, I could argue that either team won the deal but I'm glad Melbourne took the risk.
If Tyson was available in this years draft I'd take him at 2 anyway, so in my view you haven't really lost the pick 2 and you've got a massive pick upgrade at the same time.
GWS did well as well because they will be wanting the best quality rather than quantity

23 for Vince!

Hopefully it's a formality.

Both camps ( Melbourne and Adelaide ) intimated as much on Trade Radio today.
It went something like " If Melbourne receive a pick inside 25 it will be on traded for Vince."
I think it will be ticked off quickly next week.
