So with now having Waite and Petrie we now have 2 key forwards use to having the number one defender, one of them will be licking their lips and the one with the number one defender can play higher up the ground. And Brown is now the 200cm guy playing on defender number 3. Great work by the club.

And suddenly Black & Wood are relegated and stunted in development by a 32yo, ridiculous move North, we are starting to sound like Vossy a few years back who started recruiting old c**ts to pinch a flag cos he believed they were closer to it than they actually were in reality, sounding eerily familiar:thumbsdown:

Who cares what best 22 looks on paper, it's what best 22 to 30 looks like. There will be injuries suspensions and poor form. Finally there is no excuses for the match committee.

Just Draft pace to be ready in time for boomer replacement.
This, creating a ready made solid squad of at least 30 is the most important thing, best 22 will take care of itself based on form

Would Wayne be encouraging the kid to play at "the Kangaroos" though, assuming it's a boy?!
I'd have to send KC over to deliver his trademark - pen -> eye.

We could go rogue and kidnap him and develop a 'hills have eyes' type scenario. We may have to offer up all of our better halves. Couldn't be that hard though, Sherm already offered his mrs in order to get dangerfield. Carey jnr will be better than him. We wouldn't be breaking any laws either because he's the 'roo-boy' so technically he belongs to North. Also, if any of our better halves don't want to we can just sit them in front of a Carey highlights package...presto.

Hmm the Brown vs Black discussion is going to be interesting next year.
Interesting conversation.

Black is beautiful, and it's very tempting to back in Black.
But will Brown be the new Black?
I've heard that once you've had Black in the team, you don't go back.
But if we did drop him, and he returned better than before it'd be good to hear the words "Black is back."

Ball use with a fit and firing wells, boomer, Higgins and dal.

Only suspect kick left is gibbos, who gets it 35 times a match. Greenwood has improved, but still, there are others I'd rather have the ball on the outside.

With other teams above us still improving, we just had to take advantage of free agency this year. Good job so far Imo. Interesting to see if we have more gains through actual trade period to come. As the list is now at a point where some balancing may need to take place, plus blokes have been at the club of enough for coaches to know if there pay off the future or not.

Listen, just because your coach is getting the flick on Monday doesn't mean you can come over here and start stinking up our board again.

Big difference between Free agents and using up draft picks. Staker and Raines have had horrible injuries. Fevola was a train wreck. Buchanan and xavier Clarke were odd pics.

The club is plugging holes and our depth will be really good

Massive overreaction by Reacher, not like we've gone and gotten Xav Clarke, Staker, Fev, McGuire all at once.
If Wood is good enough he'll force his way into the side. Sydney have been developing guys in the two's for 3-4 yers and they come in ready

Unless we lose Levi for $ only then yes.

The Fevola, Staker, Clarke, Raines, McGuire, Buchanan was the draft right before compromised drafts and also cost them culturally - their 2010 B&F left and so did Bradshaw.

We still have our draft picks and have lost nothing.

So if and when Greenwood goes to Richmond or the Bulldogs I will love to hear your reasoning to the list management.

"If and when Levi goes to Richmond or the Bulldogs" will only happen if he requests to leave, or wants more money than the club feels he is worth.

The club will fully be aware of who is out of contract in the next four years, what their likely asking price will be and will have structured the offers to Waite and Higgins accordingly. People thinking that we've somehow jeopardised our chances of signing Greenwood are selling the list management people a little bit short.
