On the plus side to our not so impressive start to the season it might be a bit cheaper to get Dunkley and Mills. Finishing outside the top 4 would help a lot points wise.
Maybe we're tanking? Frankly, I wouldn't mind. Nearly all other clubs have done it to their advantage. The only different is that they don't usually do it when they're in flag contention.

Our record with first round draft picks is atrocious anyway (SF51 says hi!) so even if we do have to cough up extra picks to get Mills and Dunkley, at least we're investing in players who have a better chance of success.
Absolutely. It's usually better to have one certain two gun and one probable gun than half a dozen possibles.

Yep. I don't think we need a key defender. Two of XR, Aliir, McLaren, Melican or Davis are certain to make it. Apparently Newman is also likely to make it. I know he's not a key defender but a defender nonetheless.
I reckon we will see Newman a lot sooner than most would think.

My best mate commented on Saturday that Tom Harley is now doing the injury report.

How come the physio's no longer do the injury report?

Eventually the Comical Ali routine took it toll.

You can only lie so much with a straight face before the strain gets you.

The last one he did ended up with on the floor laughing uncontrollably for 15 minutes screaming "they can't buy this 4-6 week crap again"

Really hope the club goes after an average kpd in the off season. Shoenmakers and robbie tarrant fot the bill. Both would be in the correct salary range and both have shown ability

I'm sorry but no. Not ever. The first question that should be asked of all potential recruits is "Are you contemplating or have you ever had a man bun".

If the answer is yes to either, then they just can't be recruited. If I was playing on a bloke with a man bun, and I don't care if he was Barry Hall, I'd be thinking "I've got you mate." Man buns instil a sense of authority, confidence, and purpose in opposition players.

Just read posters segment Young Talent time, encouraging or not he seems to think Dunkley is not really a top 10 prospect rather a top 10-20 prospect which almost guarantees both his and Mills arrival at the Swans next year provided Dunkley commits. It means we prob won't have to punt a Mitchell or someone to get the picks to get both. With any luck both turn into absolute stars just to shove it up the fat campaigners anus.

Franklin eventually ditched the Ned Kelly. I'm not against Shockersmaker and I suggested it back in 2012.
