Not sure what his contract status is or even how he is viewed by the club these days but apparently freo were pretty keen to get rid of zac clarke at one stage....would be a very good pick up

PLEASE TAKE JESSE WHITE BACK, PLEASE!!!!!!!!! omg
You need to speak to Adelaide. They are the ones that didn't take him with a draft pick for Tippett.

Never thought we would regret the trade....

If White had it all between the ears, he could be an elite CHF, like Reid. Reid works better down back though which White might not be able to do but if he just got his head straight... who knows what he could have been

Eventually the Comical Ali routine took it toll.

You can only lie so much with a straight face before the strain gets you.

The last one he did ended up with on the floor laughing uncontrollably for 15 minutes screaming "they can't buy this 4-6 week crap again"

I do believe thats why he got sacked from the corners office.
"the autopsy revealed the deceased suffered 47 stab wounds"
proscutor: "and what conclusion did you draw from that"
"well we won't know until the scans comeback on Tuesday, But at this staged i'd say the deceased should be up and about in 4-6 weeks"

It's common wisdom to say that it's hard to find gun KPF's outside of the first round. Tippett seems to be a rare exception.

Reid and White were athletic guns but not especially gun up front (IIRC) so it isn't wholly surprising they've turned into "potentially good but...." kind of players.

We really need another player with elite skills. Having jetta, lloyd and mcveigh isnt enough. Mentioned it before but the more i think about it the more i think yarran would be a good fit.

Experienced player but still relatively cheap, elite skills and would thrive in a good side. Perfect fit for a half back

White is an interesting player that contract year he showed a bit as a mobile tall, should never ruck though

Hasn't he only ever been a small fwd?

I remember the year before White was drafted many thought that he would be a first round selection. Hard to believe looking back. Great athleticism and from what I recall had only played a season or two having spent his time concentrating on basketball.

He was actually not even that bad v the cats

Seen him play worse

Been played more in the back half by Mick. Another reason they can't kick a score. Every Carltank player that used to score for them has been sent to the backs or traded/let go.

With some smart trading we could make the 20% discount system very well.

This is my proposal

- Trade Hanners to Carlton and get the predicted pick 1

- Trade Nick Smith and predicted pick 17 to Geelong for the predicted pick 9.

- Trade Craig Bird and predicted pick 38 to Melbourne for the predicted pick 22.

We then have the following predicted picks:

1,9,22 and 58

Next steps

- Use pick 1 to secure Mills. Use the 20% point discount to upgrade pick 22 to around pick 13.

- Use pick 9 to secure Dunkley (if there are no earlier bids). Another 20% discount applies. Upgrade pick 58 to 35

- Use pick 13 to trade to the Gold Coast for Sam Day. That's our KPD prospect.

- Use pick 35 to draft a player to fulfil a requirement.

What we lose - Hanners, Smith, Bird

What we gain - Mills, Dunkley, Sam Day, pick 35 and salary cap room.

Marsh and Jones come into the defence to replace Smith and Shaw. There may be some teething problems.

Mitchell plays full time in the seniors without pressure from Bird.

Heeney takes Hanners in / out midfield position.

Sam takes takes a position from Richards or Grundy.

Dunkley and Mills are then slowly integrated into the seniors like Heeney is this year.

Could be a great draft.
