Well we have played all our other GFs in the royal blue. I hope we get to wear royal blue shorts also as we look quite majestic with them.West coast are wearing their wings away strip, which as I understand most WC fans prefer as it's really their 'original' strip if that makes sense
Time for a thread title update
Should essentially be treated like our home game in all facets. So weagles would be forced to change guernseys anyway ? Hope we get our usual rooms
Really need the 2 rucks against NicNat and Sinclair. Will also throw out the team balance we have had to go in without 2 rucks. If Gunston is fit what if he came in for Hale and Roughy spent more time in the middle as a ruck and as a big bodied mid?
But Roughy could play as a mobile midfielder. Really liked Schoey as a key forward in the last few weeks. Rarely beaten in a forward contest. Hoping he stays in and clunks a few early.Really need the 2 rucks against NicNat and Sinclair. Will also throw out the team balance we have had to go in without 2 rucks.
Yeah that's the concern. But Hale hasn't really fired much of a shot the last few weeks. Ceglar would be the other option but he didn't play at any level last week. Will likely only play at most 3 quarters today.Really need the 2 rucks against NicNat and Sinclair. Will also throw out the team balance we have had to go in without 2 rucks.
Eagles FB just said we'll be wearing royal shorts. Not sure if that means you have to wear white or if you can still wear brown shorts?Well we have played all our other GFs in the royal blue. I hope we get to wear royal blue shorts also as we look quite majestic with them.
If the fb is correct, then we must wear white shortsEagles FB just said we'll be wearing royal shorts. Not sure if that means you have to wear white or if you can still wear brown shorts?

There is no room for sentiment at the selection table on Thursday. If Schoey is considered in our best 22 against the Eagles, he will play. If Gunston isn't 100% fit, he will play. Picking him because it would be sad if he got dropped is a sure fired way to lose the game. I love the bloke, but I trust the club will do what's best for the club.

For anyone worried about 26 and sunny....

Next to the scoreboard, its ok.How restricted is restricted?
Don't like the idea of them getting 35-40 shots on goal, though...It's been briefly mentioned before, but the fact that the Boo!gles have only played once on the MCG is really significant. We've seen the effect of poor kicking in vital games before - Port last year, Fremantle in 2013, us in 2012. The Boo!gles have also had a habit of spraying shots at goal all year as they've kicked scores like 16.24, 16.18 & most tellingly 11.17 against Gold Coast. Yes, they get a lot of shot on goals, but a scatter-gun approach won't work next Saturday.
Cyril & Poppy won't let you down in that regard I reckon. The one game i watched Wellingham play this year was against us a couple of weeks ago and his tackling was unbelievably super strong, our boys need to bring that part of the game to the table next week to challenge the eagles mids physically.

If Ceglar plays well today i would roll the dice and bring him in next week would most likely only play 3 quarters next week too.Yeah that's the concern.
