Is the fact that they're both out on the field today a good thing or a bad thing?
You would rather they didn't train all week? Got to test them to see how they pulled up and if they pull up ok by Saturday morning. Hodge will play. He would just be bruised from the big collision he played. His destiny is to lead Hawthorn to three straight flags. We always knew he was the chosen one. It is his time.

Peter knights will be presenting the cup if we win.

Looking forward to seeing him up there on the stage. :D

And here I was hoping it would be Lethal, just for the expression on his face if we can grab the three-peat to equal the Lions efforts. Oh well, maybe we can save him for next year when we exceed... ;)

Another ex player (plough), coming out and gobbing off. Now apparently we get away with at least 15 kicks a week that travel under 15m and the umps must crack down on us. Guaranteed to hsve 25m passes called play on now. Thanks Terry.

That's fine. As long as the umps ping 50 for all the players who rush in (and over) the mark now to try and stop us getting that quick handball over the top to space. Been happening a lot lately.

Luke, the force will be with you, always.

And if the MRP consider the force excessive, I'm not caring too much about the holiday you'll get in March, at this point in time.

Not to mention those "unbelevable" handballs

Did Healy tip us last week against Freo?

He's on the Eagles this week, as usual.

He didn't top us to win in final in either 2013 or 2014, so hopefully it's just another omen.

Make no mistake, this is clearly the best opposition we've faced in a gf since '08. Freo were an honest side with questionable depth and butchers on every line. The Swans had guys like Shaw & Rohan in their back 6 and not a single dangerous crumber inside their forward 50.
West Coast are a completely different proposition. They have an abundance of quality tall & small forwards, a midfield that runs both ways (+ an underrated 2nd ruck) and a back 6 that are undersized but compensate by communicating and covering exceptionally well.
I have a feeling our small forwards are going to be the key to us winning on Saturday: If Breust & Rioli can snag some early sausages and put doubt in the minds of Wellingham & Sheppard guys like Rough & Gunston/Schoe may get more space. Likewise West Coast will look to hit up Lake's man on the lead early doors to expose his lack of pace and dent his confidence on a hot, fast track. If big Brian plucks some early marks one on one he could really humiliate Sinclair on the big stage.
All in all I think this will be a game for the ages.
The two best teams fighting it out on a sunny spring afternoon, it doesn't get any better!

The closer I get to the game, the more worried I get.

The Eagles are a very good side, and if they play at their best, they will be very hard to beat.

Still have faith and confidence the boys can do it as I feel they are on a mission, I just think this will be the closest of the 3 GFs.

I hope this is the case, the only thing that would make that better (or worse) is if Clarko said mission accomplished after being beaten. #cheapshotagainstchrisscott :p
Ahhhhhh! That's my point Xtreme, he will be saying it in reference to his statement to the press prior to round 23, when he is holding up the trophy with Hodgey next Saturday and saying or thinking (I still don't believe in rests close to the finals).

Same umpires as friday nite

Stevic Rosebury Daglish

No Margetts!!!

We got this...!
We had Stevic and Dalgleish in the QF as well. Go check the free kick count in that game. Add to that the Geelong loving Rosebury and I'd be expecting the Eagles will be getting the rub of the green on Sat.

Plough is a bitter, self indulgent, tosser...He is the only bloke I know that carry's around photo's of himself when he was playing for us and pulls them out and signs them if someone random approaches him? what a knobber!
I know this, as my nephews were on a plane a coupla years ago, anyway they went up to him and before they had said anything, he was out with his photo/artline and saying "who shall I make this out to"...I mean wtf???
