We are giving Yarran away. We don't need older players. I rate Simpkin but Holman is one of the few good draft picks we've made.

I have! I reckon he's more a liability than an asset. When he doesn't have the ball, he goes missing. Compared to the Hawks small/medium forwards he has no defensive presence which is tantamount to success in modern footy. I'd trade him now while his currency is up if a good deal came up. Adelaide were reputedly interested late in the season. If they were happy to pony up Lever and maybe a pick upgrade I'd take that..

There is no one on your list who the Crows would trade Lever for, let alone Lever + draft picks (ok, maybe they'd think about Cripps, but even then I doubt it. Everyone else? Not a fricken chance. Lever lasted about one game in the SANFL before people were talking of him as future captain material)

Well you know, i was always interested to see what carlton did with their draft picks.

I saw nick holman and thought why is this kid not getting games.

What i like is that he is a lefty, good tackler and runner, effective with ball.

One thing about us, we rarely get smashed in finals or the big dance. It happens, but mostly competitive Carlton stays competitive.

I have to say , that would be extremely disappointing... Tomlinson is not only the real value in the deal, he adds value to the others...Tomlinson makes the whole greater than the sum of its parts.
