Hey fellas :)

I'm pretty much sold on taking the plunge and becoming a full lions member next year, hoping to attend all 11 games :) I've been a "supporter" member for 5 or 6 years now, but I feel I finally have the means to get to every game, so I'm going all in.

I was wondering from anyone who has a membership currently, is it worth going for the prime or premium memberships? Obviously I'm going to get a much better seat, but I don't really know how much better watching the game will be, given that I've never sat in a super expensive seat at the Gabba to watch the footy.

How have your experiences with lion memberships been? I'm really leaning towards the "prime" ($360) membership, but I can afford the extra 100 for the best seats available, is it worth the jump?

Please and thanks, very excited to be a full on lions fan next year, I feel as if I've picked the right year to fully jump aboard :)

I have premium seats. I've been in prime and don't mind them but my wife and kids especially much prefer premium as they can see the game unfold a lot better. With a lot of the action happening on the other side of the field, the higher up you are the more you see.

Another 3 game membership for me, with local footy committments its just too hard to get to games.

Will take my grandkids a few times this year though, got to reclaim them from my Gold Coast supporting son in law!

Why on earth would you support that marriage.

It is now your duty to go above and beyond to ensure your grandchildren don't end up barracking for that Mchappy meal club, and secondly, make this bloke's life as difficult as possible. I recommend starting a circle of trust or something along those lines.

Another thing that may help a little for Victorian members is that we won 3 out 5 Melbourne games this year.

Wonder when the last time before that was that we won the same amount or more games in Melbourne than we did at the Gabba.

As (I swear) the only Brisbane supporter in shepparton, country victoria I often travel to Brisbane games loney and alone.
I'll be heading to the R1 game next year and I want to know if anyone else on bigfooty is interested in getting a group together to have a few beers and sit and watch the game together?

Hope Shaun Hart might still have some family in Shep that still follow the Lions.

You're welcome to sit with me, my wife and kids anytime. Not many beers but we do bring some good home made food and I slip a hip flask of whiskey into my pocket.

For all the lions supporters living overseas, the "digital membership" will be a great option. You get live streaming of every afl game and also get to be part of the membership base.
Yep, I'll be onboard for the Global Lion Digital Membership. Aside from being great value (considering the regular cost of the watch AFL Global pass)... i'm excited about the lions (not just because of the trade period, but because they finally appear to have cleared the bullsh*t that's been going on off field).
The first time I've had a Brisbane Lions membership of any kind... though I did have a Fitzroy membership every year from about 1986 - 1996.

I am from Melbourne but this is the first season I will buy a full membership.

. The club has made me believe again
. The club needs money
. The Lions jersey is back
. Great offseason with Beams, Christensen
. Love a Gabba weekend away/piss up

They are my reasons :)

Couldn't agree more, though haven't experienced a game up at the Gabba. Refused on principal to be a member due to that stupid jumper.
All we need now is Aish to sign and the ceiling for this team is looking pretty high.
