Merrett Jnr is a fantastic little player. Very similar to Sinclair but faster.

Would be absolutely delighted to have him at the club.

Like his brother too, although I don't think he's quite as good a player.

Also what was the deal with the AFLPA?
Something along the lines if an Essendon player was not happy he could walk to any club he wanted even if he was contracted ?

I really dont see any club agreeing to terms of any deal that involves Spencer White being the sweetener.... IMHO if he's delisted by us, he wont be on an AFL list next year

This trading of future draft picks is just gonna allow the high flying "have" clubs to enter the market for out of contract younger stars like Aish and Treloar when under usual circumstances they wouldn't have had the means to trade for these guys due to their season performance. So not only will you have the free agents demanding to go to the Collingwoods and Hawthorns of this world, you'll also have the young guns going there too.

And so what chance do clubs like us, Dogs, Melbourne have of attracting anyone decent without having to dangle a kings ransom ala T. Boyd?

He was a nice draftable player last year, but IMO was a reach by Freo at that pick.
He's nowhere near as talented as the onballers mentioned in this years top ten positions.

i agree. love lachie but right now he's not a top 10 pick. will come for nothing next year
