Fair enough. Those 30/40 picks do seem to have a good hit rate, not even just us. I agree, but the club seems to be keen on not taking a big number each year, and even less on BF! Add Webster.

I just hope we don't get too excited about these wins and continue to focus on the draft and young ooc players with potential for atleast another 2 years

The 2 go hand in hand though. Sure, our first pick slides down the order but winning lures more members, more money to the club through sponsorship & makes opposition players WANT to come play for us.

I'm happy to slide 1-2 picks down the draft order if it makes us a more attractive club for gun players to seek trade to, and allows our club to be in a much better financial position

Really liked Robbo in 2013. One of the major surprises for me this year. Super underrated. Hope he finishes very high in the BnF.

Others will probably disagree but i think he's still progressing towards being a good if somewhat ordinary player.
But midfield he's behind Armitage, Montagna, Ray, Steven, Newnes, Savage, Weller and Dunstan, and as a forward he's not as effective as Billings,Schneider Templeton, Lonie or Sinclair.

I mostly agree but have seen Saunders pop up at times and do some really very nice things, particularly in front of goal. I think we are cementing a far more consistent reserves policy this year and really giving kids a long haul in development time like Geelong does. When Saunder's gets his next call up I do expect him to be a much more rounded player then last year.

Josh Saunders' biggest issue is his up and under kicking style, if he can fix it up(doubtful) he'd be a good player.

Wouldn't be at all surprised if he's not on our list in a year or two.
