Either of you play for the wombats?
Nah, never actually played aussies rules. I grew up in country central Queensland. Come to think of it, looking back now I wonder what in the hell convinced me to start following the brisbane bears back in the day.

so permission to train list only has Paine listed, not Mcdonough. Assuming whilst he could be added to the permission to train list at a later date, it is now more likely we take Schache, Keays, Hipwood and 2 of William, Chol and Wagner in the draft.

Whilst not claiming to be a draft expert, it appears Wagner is the most likely to get through to the rookie draft, so hopefully we can get them all

Hell no, you had an epiphany.

I gotta feeling Brisbane may end up getting Matthew Wright either in the pre-season draft or rookie draft as as a mature aged recruit. He could be a handy pickup for the Lions.
Not being a smart arse but who is that? Any info would be great. (Again im not being a smartarse.)

Got Delisted by the Crows this year, Played some good footy a few years back but stalled a bit.

The games I seen, he was played as a defensive HFF, a few tackles, a few possies and the odd goal here and there type. With getting Bell this offseason, and having Christensen, Robinson and Mayes I think we have that type well covered.

For memory he could have already been a lion but didn't want to come (part of the Polec trade at the time). I say gagf to him! Bud luck buddy.

I would rather Simpkin or Warnock personally

Youngest and least experienced list in the AFL, with potentially another five 18 year olds coming in. Seems like we're an outlier in both too.

Age wise we're 0.6 years younger than 17th (23.2 vs. 23.8); 8 teams fit between 23.8-24.3 years.
Games wise our players have 10 average less games than 17th (49 games vs. 59 games); 9 teams fit between 59-69 games.

That's crazy still the youngest list

Our overall list may be the youngest, but the actual age average of the team I see to be our best is 24 :thumbsu:

Andrews Merrett Gardiner
Harwood Clarke C.Beams
Mayes D.Beams Hanley
Christensen Walker Zorko
Green Freeman McStay
Martin Rockliff Rich

Robinson Bell Bastinac Paparone

From there though, yeah, the rest are still pretty much in nappies

Yep, confirms what I have been saying for ages now. We are very young and inexperienced and this will get worse next year.

Underlines the need to pick up virtually any experience we still can this year to create some minor semblance of depth. Also underlines the absolute stupidity of getting rid of Adcock given he can cover a number of positions if required.

That's what happens when half of your list keeps leaving at the end of the year.
