Reading that 2009 draft thread is probably a good reminder not to melt too hard if we choose English with pick #7. Like many said about Fyfe, skinny kid, his video wasn't that impressive, and plenty of question marks but it all turned out pretty good

Let's say we went Logue at 7, which fixes our backline completely for talls: Pearce, Hamling, Collins as the tall mix with Logue and Oearce having the skills to be running talls.

Why does everyone want to turn Logue into a midfielder? If I had Alex Rance in my side there's no way i'd let him near the midfield.
I've read too much about this upcoming draft that it's got to the point where I've kinda lost interest and won't care too much until draft day. What will be will be, just have faith in the recruiting team. At the end of the day we'll support whoever we draft and all think he's the ducks nuts because we're bias towards our club (no different to any other supporter base).

Logue looks like a ripper. His highlight real shows a solid set of hands in the contest and may be the one of the tools we need to fix our Achilles...... Getting the ball out of defence!!

It isn't about turning him into a midfielder. It is about mobility and versatility. Taking a specialist defender early in the draft is premium price. Taking a defender who can cause mismatches is another story.

Maybe a snickers bar. Darcy Cameron has improved no doubt but my opinion only is that he is more of a chance in the Rookie draft unless WCE reach with one of their final ND picks.

He wasn't really angry though so a Snickers on a hot day? Was tossing up between recommending a frosty fruit and a twin pole but didn't want to recommend a twin pole; his mouth and mind were dirty enough saying we should use #35 and #40 on Cameron and Ryan.
Not sure either will go in the main draft tbh.
Ryan probably will but his fitness and lack of work rate during games will see him slide well past our top 40 picks. Would not be surprised to see him wait until the rookie draft where teams would be crazy not to pick him but with his fitness as poor as it is I can't see many sides wanting him on their senior list. West Coast's pick in the 50s is about as early as he'll go.
Highly doubt Darcy Cameron goes in the main draft and tbh I wouldn't be surprised to see him miss out all together.
