Just have the feeling that we may lean towards Brodie against Taranto should they both be available, for the simple fact we need the inside mids.

Do we think that we may view things from this perspective, even if we did rate Taranto higher?

Rest easy Harks. As you've said in the past, we have an actual strategy now, we're drafting for 2020 not 2017. No more ad-hoc decisions.

We need inside mids, outside mids, hybrid mids, goal-kicking mids, any other type of mid mids.

I think we pick the best player, full-stop.

Maybe best for Carlton in terms of attitude and off-field, but I think all else constant, best on-field talent will be chosen.

Does anyone know how the new Academy points system works, where you apparently can only use as many picks as you have vacant list spots?

GWS have #2 for McGrath, then 15, 37, 39, 45, 52, 55, 57, 58, 59, 60, 77.

Assuming Carlton bid #5 for Setterfield and Sydney bid #10 for Perryman, how do, or can, GWS match them?

Basically, under the revised rules, how do GWS turn that lot of Picks into Setterfield, Perryman and say Macreadie and Sproule?
