I am with you being Sub-180cm Types does turn me off a Little Bit. As I think those types don't have Huge Upside. IF They don't make it early then most likely won't make it.

Well I want to see more of them before I make any Clear calls on both

They've got until the end of the year to prove they are worth bidding on, and bidding on ahead of other available talent.

I'm open to seeing more given their respective pedigrees and relatively good improvement this season.

what avbout callum brown?

Had a couple touches but not overtly noticeable, puts his head over it well needs to get more involved imo.

Reminds me a bit of T.Boak in terms of the way he moves, attack on ball and kicks, has a fair way to go to get to Boaks level obviously and not a direct comparison meant to be taken to extremes like no doubt some will do.
One thing Boak does much better then Brown is get easy ball by hard running forward. Brown gets most his disposals in contested hardball type wins and needs to learn to spread harder and better to get involved in chains or at the end of a forward break the lines "wave" run.

Daicos is a one touch player, excellent kick accuracy, good in congestion (moves through traffic very well), good evasiveness and awareness, ok pace without being elite.

Has let his player off the leash a few times not following Hampton down. Of the 2, Daicos to my humble eyes, seems the better prospect.

Sanderson reckons a team will definitely bid on Daicos, so any chance of getting him in rookie draft is unlikely, to me he is looking pretty good today. Late 2nd/early 3rd AT THIS STAGE.

Gee that's an early call, saying a team will bid. Yes our first pick is currently about 22-25ish, but it could get even lower given that the trade period comes first.

But yes by the sounds of it, the rookie draft is way out of the question.

I am not a fan of Daicos to be honest. I would rather Brown over him and even with Brown I am not completely sold.

I don't think anyone will bid on Daicos so maybe a rookie spot.

In fairness you are probably too used to watching players in Black and White who fumble, get caught in tackles and kick to oppositions advantage, so I can see where you came to that conclusion.:p

Daicos would be a Hawthorn, Dogs and GWS type pick all day long.

Browny definitely would fit in with the pies template we have been building ie hard at it but lesser footskill types.

Cal Brown wearing n.o1 playing mainly on ball as a rover.gets most of his touches in close more of a contested ball winner.
Daicos wearing n.o 7 looks poised and skillful with the ball.not sure he likes the physical stuff too much.

Not sorry we passed on Kelly or Stewart, best available at every pick, every time.

In this case you would imagine the slight value you get from FS would be enough to make both of them good value but still have to see what's there on the day.
