Well, that's the biggest 4-goal win I've seen for some time! Nic-Nat was a beast and I am forced to admit I was wrong about Jetta: that's the best game I've seen him play for years. His harassment and speed tackling was Charlie-like. Yeo did his best to gift it away, though. Cyril, Mitchell, Frawley and many others were non-events. God that Hodge is a campaigner, but he was cowed by the end. There were a few freekickHawthorns, but, on the whole, Hawthorn's continuous whinging to the umpires didn't have the desired effect.
On Hawks manning up on the man on the mark: This needs attention and clarity from the AFL and rules committee. Seems to me that it's legal to stand next to the guy but it's not legal to block him from moving - As long as the ball is not within 5 metres? But the kicker is moving in, may or may not be 5 metres. IMO they should extend the 'protected area' rule to include staying clear of the man on the mark. Just for clarity.

In hindsight, just poor joints. The surgeon told me that when I first tore all the tendons in ankle at 14.
ACL at 16, Brostrom at 18, ACL at 22, 27 and then the other leg at 33.

If I was West Coast, I'd be pretty confident about a final against the Bulldogs at the MCG.
Very likely it could be home finals for us, Sydney & GWS, so AFL would want the only Melbourne final at the G which won't suit the Bulldogs.

That would be nice!Strategy 1? Lets do what we did last year to them at the AO... 50 to 7 at QT and ice the game.
I also recall a late season game a couple years ago where we got out of the blocks with 5 goals until the WC midfield absolutely smashed us.
Priddis is the key.

It's bizarre that the AFL have allowed it to get to this. How is it acceptable to punch someone? The impact of the punch shouldn't come into it. What kind of message is that sending to kids?
Yep. Same rule for both sides. Stay out of the zone.

Ice normally for 15 mins on/10 mins off (for a couple of days), compression and crutches. The docs would know if it was an ACL.
