If you want to Dodoro it you could walk him to the PSD. Ordinary if Freo did that IMO - we are pretty reasonable to deal with so hope that doesn't happen.

We let players walk east if they need to go home, we don't tighten the screws over those deals.

While it remains to be seen, I think we'd deal fairly with you. Pointless to be a campaigner to get the deal of the year when trades will go on as long as there are footy clubs - bad blood doesn't make future deals easy.

Pretty gutted about Hammer going if true, really hoping he stays. I'm a big fan, have been since he was drafted.

But what are some things that you guys would consider parting with. Personally I don't think 40 is fair, we might not even use that.

Your first isn't in the convo - you'll need to manipulate that for McCarthy and something else. Mayne compo will be needed for Hill. What do you think you'll get for Ballas?

I wouldn't mind Collins coming back our way but doubt that happens. Any chance one of Tucker, Crozier, Langdon or Balic head home? Not saying any of those are worth more or less than Hammer but you can involve picks if needed.

Cheers guys.
best we're getting out ballas is pick 49

Because judd leaving was commensurate with Crowley and maynes departures.

If, and I accept it's unlikely, what reception do you think Fyfe would get in 2018 if he left at the end of next year. That's a comparable situation and I doubt he'd get the polite applause Crowley did

He's one of ours, even if he goes. We aren't beyond bronx cheers for outsiders who don't quite break into the club (which I personally consider pitiful), but once a player is considered one of us, they are for life.

Fyfe has always given maximum effort, even with a broken leg, he will always be considered a club legend.

I think you're up the creek on it. A 23 game 23 and a half year old tall that is out of contract after being acquired as a delisted free agent to a club without enough picks as it is and a very early preseason draft pick.

I don't think there is any leverage.

I'm surprised trade Radio have not talked about this if it was genuine

I dont listen to them only see the quotes that get posted on here or on social media but isnt it a Victorian based show anyway so it would be like most afl tv shows who only give a toss about the big victorian clubs anyway

A person rang in to ask about young Fisher from our WA state team, they admitted they didn't know about him and rattled off some disposal stats from his WAFL games.

WA doesnt matter.

I would tell Ballantyne management know that we won't let him go unless the pick starts with a 3.

Next Year Ballantyne will be a free agent in a better draft with a better talls. Even compo 5 will be better than pick 49.

Tell the eagles picks 31 and 49 for picks 40 and 58.

Zac Fisher was AA u18 too. Played in WAFL seniors from round 1 till he got injured. Small and lightly built but can play. Should be top 20 but i'd be hoping we could grab him around the 60 mark as performances in the TAC cup are much better than at WAFL level!

It kind of pisses me off how St Kilda got Roberton. This situation is kind of similar but I hope we get a deal done instead of PSD.

Not suprised the commentators when doing freo games dont even know who our players are half the time what hope have the kids in the WAFL got.

I agree. I remember Freo with good faith willing to trade Roberton for unders but they weren't even able to come with a fourth
I don't think she'd want to sully her rep

Very true, But I am saying that draft/trade radio should have better knowledge of the future draftees. You talk about picks all you like but you need to know what that pick would get.

I'd rather we did the right thing - and we did, as much for the sake of the player as the club. If for example, we need to trade with GC (and we will), it's going to be close to a formality as both sides have acted in good faith in the past. For the Saints, it just makes their future trading harder.

Not quite fair. They owned up to not knowing him, but then asked Sheehan about him within a few minutes and he was able to give a pretty good summary about Fischer.

I would do Ballantyne & pick 40 for picks 31 & 49

Old Crumpet face up to his old tricks. Writes as well as he bowls.

Can't spell his (Hamling) name right in the second paragraph...Do E-newspapers not have editors?

Numpty.

As for Hamling, I was impressed with him in the GF, his disposal was well above the grade we've seen from the likes of Dawson this year, whereas the Norm Smith medalist had 3 OOB in one short passage of play.

The boy will do well if he comes to us.
