PRESTIA DEAL IMMINENT

It's not long now, Richmond fans. Midfielder Dion Prestia is set to be confirmed as a Tiger in the next few hours after the clubs agreed to a deal involving pick No.6 in the 2016 NAB AFL Draft. This one's been dragging on since Prestia nominated the Tigers as his preferred club on August 18. The clubs have been haggling over an exchange of second-round picks so it will be interesting to see who comes out with what.

Richmond come out with a sore arse.

Let's calm down and see what happens with Deledio. If we get Caddy for 27 and Lids for 13, then I think this Prestia trade will be offset IMO.

We'd have pick 13, 27 and 43 (or 42?) heading to the draft + Caddy and Prestia. I'd be happy with that.

Its not horrible. Reports are we are better off with an extra pick this year as its a deeper draft, next year its more top heavy and not as deep. Dont mind it.

Now if we could pull off Caddy for 27, lids for 15.

I see why we were chasing pick 24 though. Phantom form guide for this years draft has a half back as No. 24. No need to mould the new bloke into that position then.

Cox came onto the scene this year for North Ballarat having previously been in the under-16 system for Western Australia. The exciting prospect played his best footy for the season as a running and attacking half-back who uses the ball well and breaks the lines. He moved a bit further up the ground late in the year, including across half-forward, but is best suited to the running back position. Cox hails from Halls Creek in the Kimberley region of WA and has plenty of development left in him

Am I missing something? That's a solid deal for Prestia. Can always trade back into the second round next year, and the club is banking on us having a pick higher than 24 next year anyway.

RICHMOND has finally sealed the deal for Gold Coast midfielder Dion Prestia.

As expected, the Tigers will part with pick No.6 as well as a future second-round pick.

In return they received pick 24 from Gold Coast.

That is ****ing shite.
